Agree we should sell him, but don’t see him agreeing to go. He‘s on £200k per week, who would be stupid enough to pay him that ….Newcastle?
The funny thing is I dont think even they would take him. Is he going to go to a club for big money and play second fiddle to Saint Maximan?

I don't see him getting ahead of him, considering his attitude. Newcastle fans won't have the same patience as United fans.

Have to sell I'm afraid. The rumoured new contract would be astronomical and would likely inflame tensions in the dressing room having such a limited player on so much money - you can imagine how destabilising that would be in terms of trying to rebuild the squad and improve morale.

Newcastle have a big bag of money but I don't think they are that stupid.

How can one of the worst forwards in the league demand a guaranteed game time?

Vinicius over the course of this season is what I expected Rashford to be. A shame that he got so much worse this year, has to go now. I don't think Ten Hag will have much faith in him.

Three games to go, if RR selects him to start, he has to show the effort that would impress a coach like ETH, he has to press hard, make runs non stop and track back for 90 mins.

I don't care about quality for the last games of the season, Rashford must build a base of a 100% effort as minimum, from there maybe ETH will give him decent minutes next season to gain conference and improve his performances.

As of now, my opinion on him is that he should be sold, his last chance is the minutes RR will give him in the remainder of this season, if he gets any.

Attitude of entitlement.

You can see it with Rashford, Lingard, they have the same mentality.

Its almost they think they are something bigger than they really are.

Guarantees to play, guarantees to play on the left, guarantees that only i can cut in and shoot. And a statue outside aswell. a statue showing me cutting in from the left and shooting

He can run as much as he wants, he's not outshining Sancho as an inverted forward in ETH's style. The gulf in teamwork and understanding is canyon wide. Sancho in that role will be too tempting for any manager.

He has to go now i feel. No player should be dictating who plays and who doesnt etc.

The lack of discipline of our players compared to city and liverpool.

You can't be clearly not trying on the pitch, and it's been obvious at times this season when he's just jogged around or sulked, and then be demanding game time.

You cannot give in to a player that does that, you can't run a club like that.

If he's not prepared to work hard and earn his place back he has to go.

Thats the thing, he is cracking on like has been banished to train with the U23s. He gets regular gametime and plays like a slapped arse. His self awareness off the pitch is like his awareness of others on the pitch

I personally think he should be given one more season but if he wants guaranteed game time after the season he’s had then he needs to be be shown the door. Expeditiously.
Can he guarantee 75M selling fees, while he is at it?

We shouldn’t be so afraid of losing him, he’s not a special player that cannot be replaced. One more season means we are putting this a risk of losing him for nothing or for free because clubs will take advantage of not singing him and let it run out in 2024.

With the number of other fires to be tackled, I can see us keeping him this year and seeing if he reignites his career here. But I’m totally against giving him a new contract. If he does good next season , give him a new contract or sell him next year or January. If he’s willing to do the effort and play next season without a contract hike, I’m all up for it. But if he throws a tantrum and starts spewing media BS like Lingard, I’m a big Yes to “Sell” this summer

Playing time should be earned, of all the players over the last few years who have "demanded" game time, the only one who I actually think was done dirty was van de Beek.

Please don´t. Kane is good, but we need to change our approach of buying players close to their «top of descent». We need players on the way up, not peaked players. If we buy Kane, i´d probably expect ETH to fail, because i think it would be a sign its not his decision, and if we don´t back him, he´s gonna fail like everyone so far.
I'm with you on the general point of Kane. But surely Rashford + 30m for him is a no brainer. They would never accept that though, it was just a tongue in cheek comment suggesting rashford is worth 70m.

I reckon Newcastle would jump at the chance to get him for 50m or so. Whether he'd be willing to go is another question.

Outside of that? Who knows, no easy fit springs to mind really. Either way I've come around to the sell him now camp the more I think about it.

We've cut him a huge amount of slack as a fanbase, but the guy simply hasn't been putting in the effort. Then we get endless PR, reports of demands of this and that .. we need a cultural reset at this club desperately, and with so many bad apples already off, now is the time to go all in.

Get rid I say.

He really would be a dream signing for Newcastle given how much his brand and PR would contribute to their sports washing.

Provided they can get him scoring enough goals for an England call up so he can maintain similar levels of clout on social media.

Stating the obvious, Rashford needs to earn his place back into the first team. He walked and sulked around the pitch far too much. No one begrudged fruitless effort, but everyone begrudges lack of effort.

In my personal opinion, ETH would play Bruno and Sancho as the wide player and this guy will have no place in ETH system. According to Ajax fans that I listened on YouTube, ETH wide players operate like no 10, and this won‘t suit Rashford imo. Beside, Rashford is on 200k p.w wages. Cash in and replace him with less wages player would benefit the club in both financially and restructuring the wages.

His priority is clearly the WC. He just wants gametime for that and is throwing a hissy fit without the necessary performances.

“He deserves another year but that’s it” will be where some people are summer 2023 when he’s had another abysmal season and speculation has been that missing out on the World Cup and the unusually inclement weather has combined to give reasons why he’s been shit.

Fergie said once when asked about what went through his mind when he considered moving a player on:

“If there’s a doubt [about whether you think a player is good enough] then there isn’t a doubt [about what you need to do]

We need more of that ruthlessness back not reward someone pissing in the fan’s face getting rewarded with chance after chance just because his PR game is decent. He clearly either:

a) doesn’t want to work hard and/or
b) clearly isn’t good enough

If we have ANY ambitions of turning into a trophy winning entity again there’s no question for me he needs to be first out of the door.

12 out of your last 14 posts have been about Rashford man

Take it a bit easy okay, it's a sport.

Arguably 13 of your last 14 posts have been about him if you include the reply to Ronaldo clique forming and the" little lambs" comment.

He's not doing very well with that dictating is he? I mean he's not even playing, so obviously he's not actually dictating anything and whoever is telling you that, is full of shite.

I feel this is very inappropriate to post this in this particular thread. Just a couple leads singing along to music. What's that got to do with Rashford's contractual status and future at Manchester United?

He's going on a vacation again whilst the season hasn't finished. And he's gone on vacation about half a dozen times already during the season whilst serving up turd game after game.

He's going to make sacnho shit also.
