Lots of chatter about him and United earlier this week. He's an exciting prospect for sure, could learn a lot from Ronnie (if he stays).

I'd never heard of him before the links, but his runs in the videos I've seen remind me strongly of an in form Rashford.

Also one of the video titles said he was the new Thierry Henry so who am I to disagree.

I don’t see it with this guy at all (YouTube only obviously) He seems really really raw.
Big, fast, can finish, what's not to like? Has lots of attributes that can be nurtured by a decent coach. Understudy to Ronnie for a season and he'll learn and develop a lot. Of course he's going to be raw, he's 19 and not Rooney.

He barely play for Reims, yet we want him? I don't see it either.

Has that Draxler, RvP style (Doesn't have the striking technique like RvP, but more elegant than Draxler though).

While not having meteoric wonder kid breakthrough, he looks an exciting prospect with plenty of potential. Definitely a worthy signing even. Even if we don't have use for him immediately, loan him back or next level somewhere can be an option.

Seems unlikely we'd go for him if this was the case. Our only striker currently is Ronaldo and still up for debate whether he stays.

Is this the same lad Newcastle had a deadline day offer accepted for but he turned them down?

I've only seen a few clips of him , he's young and looks a lot the way he moves like a Henry type but who knows only time will tell. This guy would be a bit of a gamble, this club is known for that as well.

Seen him a couple of times, very raw. Think he woould have been a great signging as a second choice behind Ronaldo or another signing now if Ronaldo goes.

He does remind me of a young Henry at MOnaco, though more languid, dont see the same power and pace, but hwo knows how that develops.

Saying that the fee is large Newcastle were being quoted, he looke da great £10-15m gamble until recently. May well develop into a top top player but I think the move it maybe too big for him so soon and the fee also is too high, would have liek dto have seen him at Newcastle though personally

Price feels high but wouldn’t have minded us taking a gamble on him over Antony. With Ekitike as a back-up to Ronaldo for a season and Amad stepping up to fill RW on a regular basis, as I still have high hopes for the lad.

Saying that, €46m for a striker that scored 10 in 24 in Ligue 1 is pretty punchy, even if he’s more of a link up sort of striker.

Only seen him in two full games but both times he stood out a mile. Has a really unusual skillset with his size, speed and dribbling ability.

Saw PSG are also being linked with Kephren Thuram. Seems like the new Campos strategy is Future Galacticos rather than current ones.

We should have signed Campos instead of Murtough. His transfers have been really good so far.

seems to mostly drift from the left, from the little I've watched.
Anyone else watched him play consistently ?

One we definitely missed out on. PSG got him on loan with option to buy, fee lower than what Newcastle had agreed to pay. He would've been great as a rotation option with Ronaldo and Martial, with some minutes at RW. This one was definitely a gamble we should have taken considering how poor the striker market is.

Don’t bump old transfer threads to comment on a player that’s signed for someone. Use a thread in the football forum
