I reckon his involvement will be the same as last years Europa League final. Sitting on the bench. (Irritatingly I still think Ole should have brought him on to just run at the Villareal defenders late on because I dont think they would have coped. Instead he plays for penalties....)
Nah. We needed to leave Rashford on to walk around for 120 minutes.

Did you see him compared to his teammates. I can see why he hasn’t played. He’s a baby.

He needs to hit the gym. The UK is a man’s game. Hopefully we can look after his career. He might save us wasting more money.
He's still only 20 and really hasn't fully matured physically yet.

A player like him just needs more strength in his legs and core to make the most of his low centre of gravity.

Yeah definitely. I don’t see it as a bad thing either. He’s still young.

to be fair, it's not like he got them there or deserves to start, but I just hope he can get on the pitch for any minutes and involved in a massive final for a club.

In a Ten Hag system I think this lad will shine personally. Let the lad stay and focus on his strength conditioning whilst we integrate him into the team. We're playing a specific system and he'll only learn that here.

Yes i agree, some people are talking about him adding mass like a Shaqiri but he could be like B.Silva and be just fine, he shows good tenacity off the ball, if he plays in a system that focuses on pass and move style he could really turn it up.

The way Rangers have played this year Amad is probably on loan at a better team than Utd anyway so no real surprise that he has struggled to make an impression.

Love this lad but Rangnick made a comment about our Physical players not being technical enough and our technical players not being physical enough and I think Amad exemplifies this. Bit of an Angel Gomes about him. He's such a lovely player to watch and in many ways miles ahead of his peers but when you have the height limitations that they have you need to compensate by either being strong as a bull or very quick or at the bare minimum energetic pressing monsters like Dan James. Neither of those players are though Amad is actually quite good at tracking back and regaining possession. He's very young so he could take a leap when he gets his man strength or match cuteness but the loan spell at Rangers is a bit concerning.

True. Would be good to see him involved more than last seasons final anyway.

Boy is growing up. I think he could be ready for ETH next season, otherwise loan him out, but i think he can contribute next season.

He's such an aesthetically pleasing player to watch. Seems to have filled out a bit since he played for us last.
He has such amazing touch and reading of the game. The balls he plays to his teammates are superb.

The boy is very raw but talented. He needs developing and certainly has the talent to be useful. I hope ETH does decide to keep him and develop him.

Agree. If he fails at United, it won't be because he's not talented enough. Has lovely vision and weight of passing. His shooting is a bit weak at times though although his dink over the keeper was beautiful.

He's not a typical united player like Sancho, but I hope to see this profile of players thrive at united and hopefully under ETH

Not starting. Just shows his performances don't matter to GVB.

Nothing more he could have done last game to earn a start.

Think it’s more to do with preparing the starting XI for the finals next week. There will be more rotation on Saturday where I’d expect him to start.

He's playing now, anyone watching?
Almost scored a great goal there after dancing between two defenders.

Scored just now. Tap in but good run and he is playing well again.

When given the chance it's been a good loan just not given enough minutes is the only issue

Hopefully Amad is being used to scout Alex Lowry and Leon King. Those two are heading for the top.

Is raw the right word? Decision making maybe, but that's most youngsters.

I would say Elanga is a bit raw with his work on the ball whereas I think Amad is quite polished. It's more about getting him the experience and physical makeup to handle the game in this country, I think.

A lot of the Rangers fans are keen for him to stay next season. With his ability and the understanding he’s gleaned of the senior game in recent months, he’s well poised to make a more regular impact. Obviously plenty of other variables will dictate what happens, but he’s clearly made a growing impression after the early stutter.

Unless there were promises of guaranteed game time no from me.

The likes of Scott Wright, Fashion etc starting games ahead of him is mind boggling.

I imagine he’d probably like to go back there if Rangers win the Europa League and therefore he plays in the Champions League, unlike us  :nervous:
