I don't disagree that cutting him was a choice that Giants made, but the guy cribbing said they had only shit ones. I actually do not know either Williams or Golladay at all, but the way he said it made me think that by taking the difficult decision to cut Bradberry even though he's a Pro Bowl candidate, the Giants recoup most of the cash. I do understand it a bit better now that you have explained it though, Thank you.
This is the part that makes the most sense. I believe that the decision is based on cash because restructuring the other players transform non guaranteed money into paid cash. If the owner doesn't want to pay then cutting or trading the player are the only options. Which is why I questioned the tweet, I highly doubt that it's about signing rookies.

I was trying to find what out Brees makes from NBC. It's not known apparently but it is more than the $6m a year ESPN offered him and apparently less than the $17m Romo makes over at CBS. Brady at $37m a year is fecking insane.

Is that more than what he earned in his NFL career? He has always taken less for the team’s benefit.

Yeah, saw a tweet his career earnings were $333m up till now. That’s strictly NFL salary/signing bonuses anf incentives probably though.

Pickens and even Dotson have a chance to be Round 1 as well, although 7 WRs would probably be a bit much  I rate them in this order right now:

1 WIlson
2 Olave
3 Burks
4 London
5 Williams

Although the bottom three could have the most potential out of those 5... Just think Williams could take a while to get up to speed, so does Burks with his limited route tree. London is a big contested catch guy but how does that translate to the pros? Wilson is the most polished and NFL ready receiver imo.
Williams
London
Burks
Wilson
Olave

Is how I'd have my post draft (dynasty) rankings. Starting to fall in love with Williams the more I watch of him, certainly highest upside alongside Burks. A lot will hinge on the 2023 draft class - e.g. who gets Stroud or Young in Atlanta or Detroit could be a major shift for these careers.

I think Atlanta will be awful enough this season that they will just about have their choice of QB and London was already ‘my guy’, along with Skyy out of tier 2, so I see a big (literally) future with him and Pitts. Some guys whose opinions I respect still insist Burks is the guy here and that we’re making too much of how he was used in a limited Arkie offense but who knows.

It‘s a shame I don’t have any draft picks to grab them.

If the Titans use Burks like they did with AJ Brown then he can be very, very dangerous.

I just don't see it with London on tape. Barely gets any seperation, just comes down with a lot of 1v1 jump balls. Given that Mariota is pretty awful throwing into tight windows, I'm not convinced. Meanwhile I think Jamo is that dude, legit burner with crazy cuts and stop-start ability. Leads Crimson Tide in yards per game all-time (although context of course, only had his junior season there).

I’m convinced the fantasy community is so scarred by guys like N’Keal Harry and other recent flops that made their money on contested catches that they’re just projecting that onto London. They want smaller G. Wilson sized guys that have ‘separation’ and ‘route running’ even though those things are difficult to judge unless you’re a professional.

Some people docked Chase for not getting separation not realizing he created separation at the catch point a la Dez Bryant, because there’s more than one point in the route to achieve separation. If you look under the hood there’s more to London than contested catches.

From breaking Denver’s streak of consecutive years with a primetime game (or MNF or whatever that streak was) last year to supposedly filling up the max allotment…what a difference a QB makes.

Damaged his partners property? Car maybe?
Car, phone, furniture, could be anything. Have to be careful without knowing the facts of course but from the things I’m reading on Twitter it’s not like he killed someone at least.

Yeah, I am confused as to what we’re actually debating. They had to do something and the most expedient ‘something’ ended up being Bradberry. But the subject has already dragged on much longer than it merits, so…on to trivia:

3 guys in history have posted a 1k receiving yard/5 rec TD/5 rushing TD stat line. One was Deebo Samuel just recently. Who were the other two?

hint 1: one or both might have been before some started following the sport, but they are not obscure names
roger craig?

Amazon really mixing things up.
Apple is starting to throw their weight around as well.

There are a lot of things in motion it seems, including gambling being legalized in more states (I think Ohio was one the other day) meaning even more revenue coming in.
