I’ld like to think it was Phil Jones knocking the bollix outa Lingard or Pogba or Maguire or Shaw or Rashford etc etc etc
Phil Jones is more disgraceful than them lot.

Likes to sit around stealing a living when he could have got a loan about ten times over

Paul McGrath, Norman Whiteside, Kevin Moran, Bryan Robson, Arthur Allbiston - all down the local after training for a full on session - they would have been scrapping amoung themselves and their shadows…..no mobile phones, no internet, no sky sports, no social media in those days - you could get away with murder!

For those of us old enough who grew up in them times - the not knowing was the magic of it all!
If memory serves, Jim Holton and Stewart Houston got into a right ding-dong at the Cliff one day. Apparently, the Doc had to promise exclusives to a couple of journos who witnessed it just to keep it out of the papers. George Graham, when he was with us, had a habit of spicing training sessions up. Having been a member of Arsenal's double winners, he didn't take kindly to players he thought weren't putting in 100%. The Doc, it is said, encouraged him in this.

I watch a lot of football related media. Podcasts and whatnot. So for example the cycling goalie with Ben foster and that one where they play golf and it's a different player.

Based on some of the stories players and ex players talk about I would say team mates fighting is very common. Almost a regular thing which they can laugh about after on shows like those I've described.

Bailly v Slab head.

Bailly is bat shit crazy and was lied to by Ole and hasn't had a look in since January.

Doesn't Maguire usually run away if he thinks there's a fight?

My money is on a mixed weight battle between Shaw and Bruno after Shaw got upset team Portugal have banned happy meals from the canteen

These identical jokes every second poster is making about the fight being between Shaw and <insert player name> over <insert unhealthy food type> are really hilarious. Very original too. And not at all tiresome.

Shame neither Fergie nor LVG are around to put a clown like Custis in his place.

Well its the Sun........but hardly surprising if it is true.

My moneys on one of the midfield vs Maguire.
Maguire didn't even fight when he was convicted of fight in Greece. I doubt there is a fighting bone in him, on or off the field :D

So did DdG leave his goal for a change or did Maguire make it back quick enough for a change? Where exactly on the pitch did they meet? Did they swear? So many important questions …

RIP modern journalism. How do you break a story like this and not tell us who won.

A question for guys who had been here before Fergie, was there any similar instances & then everything changed under Fergie?
The way the 1994 team was, these kinds of fights would've been relatively commonplace back then.

There's a story about Keane and Schmeichel getting into a fight in the former's autobiography.

If it's not true the club should take the paper to task. If it is, we should deal with the leakers as this stuff happens I'd imagine on the training ground but it being out in the media hurts the club's image.

Not permanently he wasn't. He is pathetic.

You do realise how long he has been here doing sweet feck all?

Obviously compounded by Ole giving him a new contract to reward him for doing nothing at all.
You do realise he was actually injured an unable to even train for a good two years. And before that pushed himself to play through that injury which in turn completely fecked him.

Off topic but as far as scraps go this is one that is hard to top.

It wasn't so much of a fight but Orion broke the ankle of one of his teammates during a practice, it was a youth player (Paredes) and it seems he did it on purpose.

I’ll go for Jesse vs De Gea

the names would’ve leaked by now is Jesse wasn’t involved

and De Gea is someone I can see calling out one of the misfits for half arsing it

This is easily the most toxic squad there’s ever be at United since I remember, possibly one of the most toxic big teams there’s ever been? They all seem to hate each other. People can blame ability and other things but there’s no way you can perform when morale is that low and there are such simmering resentments. That goes for any workplace and United is no different. One of the main goals of the summer should be to make a call on who is causing trouble and try to break up the cliques.
And this is supposedly after Ole's "cultural reboot".
