    I'm going for a 0-4 win.

The players know that ETH is going to be watching. Only one chance to make a good impression, etc.

That’s a rather damming statement unfortunately.

I’m 44 so obviously not around for relegation but it’s definitely the worst season in my time.

I don’t see this game against Palace making it any better either.
I saw many of the games in the season we were relegated, and we absolutely better that season than this. The players played their hearts out right up until Denis Law's goal on the last day of the season. That was the only time I saw heads drop

You really think this bunch care?

They are not gonna be up for this at all.

I cannot see as winning in the slightest.

Palace are a better team for sure right now.

We'll win by a couple of goals. West Ham won't beat Brighton so it will be Europa League for us.

The players today giving ETH his first season in charge Conference football, he'll be in the changing room after the game throwing cups, mugs & god knows what else in a fit of rage, they'd be no holding him back. :D

That should be the case, and I wondered if that is part of the reason he is there,
but apart from Mata and Matic, anyone who is not here next year, won't care
Hopefully, that's taken into account at team selection.

I admire the optimism of the 34% backing us to win.

Most of the players look to have switched off long ago, I don't really see them being up for this after a couple of weeks off even with their new manager watching.

With no Ronnie it will be conference next season.
If its the conference league, ETH should let the reserves and fringe players play out the long trips to Eastern Europe and see where it goes so the first team can concentrate on using the added time for additional training sessions.

No chance. The conference league is our best route to the europa league next season and a trophy is a trophy

We cannot throw the reserves to the wolves as that is not going to benefit them at all and would hinder their progress.
It would have to be a combination of first teamers and youngsters for the process to have any benefit for the future.

Anyone who makes no effort to give his best today, and is still with us next year are the ones who should be on the long trips
If they don't put in the effort today, they are not part of the future even if they are not leaving. ( yet )

Let those who care, including some youngsters, be part of the future plan in the League

Haven’t got a clue what the team is going to be today.

Most likely another disappointing result to add to the many others this season.

I have absolutely no interest in this game, will not be finding a stream to watch it.
Hate I feel this way, but it is what it is.
I will watch, let's say, Rashford runs into CP defenders, loses the ball, walks back, shoulders down, head down while CP counter attacks. Next camera shot is Erik doing face palm, shaking his head, rolling eyes.
    Either that, or this:
    I'm going for a 0-4 win.

The players know that ETH is going to be watching. Only one chance to make a good impression, etc.
    Depends on this:
You really think this bunch care?
They are not gonna be up for this at all.
If they care we win, if not.. Hello Conference.

So, what about the last match (which we lost) - do you think that those same players were not aware that they were under the microscope from Ralf R AND ETH?
Or do you think that they were not aware that ETH was watching them?

My friend, nothing has changed from the last match to today. Nothing. The mentality of the players remains the same and the odds of a loss today are very high. The only way to stop the rot is to give the manager absolute power to bench, demote and sell players who are not pulling their weight. This should've been done when Jose was in charge. We had a serial winner and he knew our mentality was an issue. Instead, the board gave the players power to throw Jose (and all other managers) under the bus....which they did.

Once a big player gets demoted or sold due to his lack of effort, this will send a shockwave through the entire squad and that is the point that this mentality issue will begin to change. Until then, the players know that at will, they can get a manager fired, while they remain in place.

What's the most probable lineup? I'm not updated on the injuries.

He didn't name them all. Only saying Shaw missed training and Sancho had to leave a session. Then news broke the day later that Ronaldo will be out.

It's just whether from the Brighton lineup, Maguire comes back in or Bruno back to 10. Hopefully Hannibal starts but I doubt it, so I'd guess...

    De Gea

    Dalot Lindelof Varane Telles

    Mctominay Fred

    Mata

    Elanga Cavani Bruno

I’m expecting a boring 1-1 with everyone trying to avoid injury

When the Championship season draws to a close, Sky offer all the games on their red button. Never understood why they don't doo that for the very last game of the PL season - just a one-off. I'd really like to watch us today, this fixture is usually a really good one. I have exactly zero interest in the games they are showing...

The picture quality on Sky's red button coverage is appalling. Now if it were BT, then yes.
