Kane a playmaker? Have heard it all now.
He drops deep and punts it forward to Son occasionally.

We don't really want Ronaldo doing that.

Signing Kane would be bonkers, don't even know why this is a thing. We might have thrown money at him under Woodward in a panic attempting to patch over everything with an elite signing, but not now. I am pretty sure this will not even be on ETH's radar. Too pricey which restricts our activity in the market. Does not tally with anything Rangnick has said about transfers.

Also, Kane's pulse is probably not raised at the prospect of joining us in our current predicament. If you're leaving your boyhood club approaching 30 you want guaranteed success. Not a project.

I just remembered the saga over him last year and now City have signed another striker. He's doomed to Spurs forever more.

Think he knows his last chance was last season, hence why he has only scored 12 goals or so in the league this season. Clearly not motivated and probably pissed off especially after the summer. Really is unfortunate if he has to stay at Tottenham for his entire career, what a colossal waste of time it has been. Not one trophy, not a singly trophy to show for, even Alan Shearer could do his thing sicee he had already won the league with Blackburn.

Is it possible he'll go to Chelsea in the summer? They'll almost certainly offload Lukaku and look to sign a new striker. Or is Spurs selling to Chelsea a complete no-go?

He's only 22 goals off the all time spurs record. Might as well do it now.

I think he'll stay at Spurs one more season and then seriously look at a move to United or Newcastle next summer if one of the two clubs looks to be really on the upswing and capable of challenging anytime soon. City seems out, Liverpool isn't a good fit, and he won't go to Chelsea or Arsenal. I wouldn't completely rule out a move abroad but as he gets closer to Shearer's record there will be a big incentive to stay in England.

Last summer was a massive sliding doors moment for his career.

2 years left on his contract so this would be the opportune time to sell him, he'll be 29 in the summer and could have 2 or 3 good seasons left in him.

If Spurs leave it another year they won't get good money for him. Clubs will just tell him to see out of his contract so the likes of PSG can give him a big pay packet.

It would take 200m for Chelsea to prise him loose from Levy. A complete no go even under Abramovich, let alone the new owners.

That 7 years contract has to be one of the worst career decision by an elite footballer of all time.

200m?

Hope Levy likes losing him for free because that's what's gonna happen in 2024.

He was poor at the start of the season but he plays a different role for Spurs now. He’s more like a number 10 these days. He has created 17 big chances in the league this season, only Trent and Salah have more with 18. He’s ahead of Bruno (15) and KDB (14).

I doubt that he scores 30 in the league in a season again.

If he's cheap enough, why not? I'd rather have Son though, the heir to Park.

As much as it'd be great to see Son playing for us for a couple of years, he'll be 30 before next season starts.

Kane is a year younger and has never relied on his pace, because he never had any.

But hey if either are going cheap why not.

He's only got twenty goals to get the all time record for his boyhood club. I think he will stay another year, especially if Spurs make the Champions League.

Kane will stay another season with Spurs now virtually guaranteed CL football. Conte will probably stay also.

How anyone thinks this is a "panic buy" is beyond me. Consistently one of the top scorers in the PL season after season - yes, I can see why we wouldn't want that! I mean we wouldn't want to outscore opponents as we did in 99 and win games we'd otherwise lose or draw... But there's no way he'll come because Spurs are now pretty much guaranteed CL football next season (and I expect Kane to score at least two at Norwich on Sunday)

I can see a situation where this summer we'll bring Nunez in and next summer Cristiano will probably leave us and we maybe could replace him with Kane.

Fully expect Kane to sign a new contract after what I hope will be a summer of big signings for Spurs.

I think it's more likely that we'll sign Nunez this summer, then target someone who can play second fiddle to him next summer. It's all a guessing game though. Who knows how he will adapt, or more importantly, if we will sign him in the first place.

That American talk show host might just be the least funny man on the planet. He’s nearly as fake as Corden.

The Kane boat has long sailed. Let alone doing it in another year!

Proven PL goal-scorer year after year. It worked with RvP so no idea why people here are moaning. But it won't happen. He's got CL football next season and that's what he said he wanted all along. My guess is a shot-term contract extension at Spurs

Apparently Kane has serious ambitions to be an NFL kicker so this could be the start of him trying to grow a profile in the US.
He can't be serious, I really like the guy but making a career change in sports at this level is just pure delusion.

Also very bizarre to see a British lad interested in American football out of all the things.

He's a massive NFL fan apparently. Mates with Tom Brady and his dogs are named after his favourite NFL players.

Yeah sounds crazy but apparently Kane is great at it already. Still far fetched.

Always comes across as a mature, well balanced and an actually nice guy. Never understood the hate for him based on his personality; I can understand what he says crystal clear. He's a bit "boring" or simple but so are 95% of Footballers. Very few Footballers are great speakers like a Vincent Kompany or an entertaining personality like Jose.

Michael Jordan went and played Baseball for a few years, Ashleigh Barty retired from Tennis to play Cricket for a few years. It's definitely not unheard of.

Never thought someone from Europe would be interested in NFL out of all our American products, but it's his choice so hey who am I to judge him on that.

Hell maybe we could even tempt him to come over to United with our glazer link to Tampa.

Yeah he just seems like a fine fellow, I find him very likable as well and aside from his crouching into players when they jump nothing too unlikable about him to be honest.
Better to be a boring lad with a gine head on your shoulders than a entertaining one while being a scumbag.

And to my memory they just got on by their name, neither was really good at it, very unfeasible to see him actually doing any good in it if he really chooses to do so.
