Proud, just proud. It felt like nothing was breaking for us and we should have done this lot 4-0. It felt destined we were losing this game.

One of the best teams we'll ever watch, maybe the best ever. Huge credit to them this season. There's always work to be done but privileged to watch this squad play and we've got Jürgen on a new contract

Almost unprecedented, a painful end but still two trophies. Ignore any piss takers from the outside trying to have a laugh at us. Almost all of them would have loved to have had our season.

We’ll be even more motivated next season. We’ll get off to a flier and we’ll challenge again.

Courtois made 9 saves tonight. Madrid had 4 shots in total.

7 of those 9 where the easiest saves you will find. We didn’t have many clear shots at goal at all. The mane and salah shots are all I can think of. Even then, you would expect a good goal keeper to keep them out.

Speaking of the Premier League, Madrid have shown up the Prem here beating the top 3 teams on the bounce.
La Liga is still the strongest league in Europe. Maybe the Prem should think about helping its teams.

They were superior. That's why they won. Defended way better than we did and managed to score one more goal than us. They've got a squad that's at least as good as ours with one of the best managers of the last twenty years. Modric, Vinicius, Benzema, Courtois etc. These are serious quality players.
