The bitter truth
I was expecting worse to be honest. That video is mostly wayward passes which isn't any worse than what we see from our players. Also funny to see being dominated by Haland as a negative. As if 90% of CBs won't be dominated by that Viking.

"bitter truth"
People seriously buying into that clickbait video for views need to consider this:

If that's all the mistakes that guy can muster in a teenagers second full season playing as a unique centre back in the way that he dribbles and keeps his composure under pressure, it just makes him look even better. He's not shrinking after the odd mistake; he's sticking to his way of playing, which no other CB in world football does, and is getting better and better at it.

I haven't checked this video, I'm not sure if this is the same one that was posted few days back with his missed passes, that was proper dumb video. Timber had highest pass completion in Dutch league with around 92% and some dumb guy thought its a brilliant idea to make video on his misplaced passes.

Yeah seems like a matter of when and not if now. Feels very similar to when we got Blind when Louis was here.. the move just makes sense.

I definitely think he's been ear marked to do the Blind role at Ajax first season.

An option to start attacks from RB, then dropping in to create 3 at the back when we go forward. Helps him grow into the league and makes us more dynamic going forward.

Shaw (or whoever) would then be an overlapping full back on the other side.

Only judging by clips here, and appreciate he's still young but..

Even in the good videos, he often looks really off balance, not staying on his feet, is tackling/blocking with his wrong foot, and his touch seems a bit heavy.

I recall vague links to Carmo a year or two ago, so it’s probably just the scouts lobbying another name they’ve already identified

He's an inch taller than Cannavaro was. He'll be grand.

I reckon if he signs, he'll play more at RB anyway.
