If he had that then Juve wouldn't let him go. His wage packet is ridiculously big. Looks like a trend that many of the clubs who out bid us for players we wanted are stuck with them on stupid high wages.

Same with the Pog - if he had a winning mentality then he'd fight as Ronaldo does. Pog and Raboit are a pair of expensive tools who are best off elsewhere.
Alright I’ll actually take your word on it. As I can’t see I watch him a lot.

Just another Pogba - loads of hype - but also would come with a shocking attitude and a mother who is his agent.

If ETH went for him I would be staggered - if fact I’d call for his head already!

He couldn't lace Pogba's boots

Left footed, tall, good passer and tackler, has had a lot of game time for Juventus this season. As a player i can totally see why we'd bring him in as Matic's replacement. Its the non-playing side of things thats a bit less predictable. Hopefully that has improved if we're genuinely interested.

You don't think he's an upgrade on our current options?
You’re probably an upgrade on our current midfield. Doesn’t mean we should sign you.

Rabiot is shite. Never seen him have a good game. Whenever I’ve watched him, he’s the weakest link in the midfield.

Care to elaborate?
His Mum is his agent, bit weird no?

Come to think of it there's been a few family member agents who've been troublesome over the years. Neymars dad, Anelkas brothers, Icardi's mrs.. probably confirmation bias but still, red flag.

Wasn't there a report that Utd walked away from a few unnamed potential transfer targets after doing more homework than they have done previously and spotted red flags in a players, background, mentality or attitude. Sure i read the tweet about it somewhere on this forum.

Seems like a good fit for one of the #8 spots along with Fred, if FDJ joins.

Just turned 27, defensively strong, good passer, experienced, strong in the air.

Could probably find someone better suited but he is an upgrade on McTominay for a very reasonable fee.

I think this is the type of signing we should consider, if he only cost 15m.

People need to understand, we have a tight budget this summer (120m). We can't simply buy everyone we want for 50m+, when we are already working on the likes of FDJ (65m+), Nunez (65m+) and Timber (40m).

Quite a lot of players have family members as „agents“ and only activate the likes of Raiola or Mendez when there is a transfer looming. Regarding Rabiot‘s mother: she definitely is not easy to deal with and, due to their family history, she seems very protective of her son.
I would worry about him being lazy but not about his agent.

No it isn't, he flopped at Juve and their fans don't rate him at all. He also has a history of bad attitude/unprofessionalism, how many more red flags do you want

We should stay clear of signing players who sat out contracts in their career. Shows how comfortable they can get and how hard they would be to move on

Fair enough. All that aside, I think he'd be a bad bad transfer. Guy never lived up to that early hype.

He's everything people think Pogba is. A malignant egotistical waste of space.

There is talent there but my god what an attitude this boy has. This is not the kind of player we need to be adding to this dressing room.

The issue shouldn't be with the dressing room, unless he has changed in Italy. The issue is Murtough having no peace and potentially having to deal with Véronique on a daily basis.

Sport Witness must be the worst source on transfers, nothing in this.
