Happy, especially with the need to replace Robinson for the WC. Any time one of our guys gets a move that comes with regular playing time I am happy. Spurs may be “Sexier” but starting a Celtic is a far better place to be.
It is the right move for him to grow as a player. You can get technically better being at a big club with great coaching as a back up, but you need to be playing in the biggest moments to grow as a player. For the same reasons I celebrate this move for his personal growth, it gives me pause that out best goalies are going to be on the bench. The USMNT coaches have also said selections for the team and starters will be about who is in form at their clubs. You can’t be in form on the bench.

Salah's paid close to double that amount if I remember correctly. He's one of Liverpool's top 5 earners along with Mané.

As badly as the US needs CB's right now, it's a great move for him to get back to playing regularly. Only issue is that he has only a couple matches a season that are difficult in the league and a handful in Europe depending on how Celtic do

These deals are total shady. I mean that even if Neves wants to join Barcelona badly, it doesn't make sense for Sporting Lisbon to be the heel losing their players for undervalued fee.
At least we can hope with Barcelona Neves link, it means FdJ heading our way.

Liverpool hardly have a transfer warchest but the reason they can go for players like Alisson, Fabinho, VVD and now Nunez is because clubs are willing to pay mind boggling sums for their cast offs. It’s a unique trait that I haven’t seen in any other modern club, going all the way back to their sales of Torres, Suarez, Coutinho, Ibe, Solanke (feck Eddie Howe re: the last two).
We really should be running more than one transfer target at a time .. there are a few good ones we're missing out on because we're just so slow / inefficient.
Desperately need a couple of versatile attackers. Richarlison, Eriksen will do great for us. One's on the last year of his contract and another's on a free.

We pay a fortune on wages on players that turn out to be a waste of space and are stuck with them till their contract is up or we are willing to subsidies their wages for them to go out on loan.

He can play at any role in the front three. Since he arrived in England he is always playing for weak sides where he will spend all his energy on defensive duties and it has created an image of a limited player among many people. But when he is in the nt and you compare him with players from the Brazil nt and south american adversaries that play in european giants, many of them considered among the best in their position, you can easily see that he is much better than what it seems at first sight.
