So currently I'd say I'm kind of confident that we'll sign De Jong, Eriksen, and maybe Antony? Past that, no idea. Seen stuff for Dumfries and Malacia, both would be excellent as we get rid of AWB and Telles, but I'm not confident about either there. Random links to centerbacks without much substance once Timber decided to stay another year.

For me, if we sign De Jong, Eriksen and Antony, I'd go full priority on a right back and then that'd be a great window.
If it pans out like that I'll be chuffed. We probably also need a striker, unless Martial is getting his umpteenth chance? I wouldn't bet against Ten Hag getting more out of him though. It's going to be fun to see what he and his coaching staff can do.

Would love to see Antony here, love the arrogance on the ball - him and sancho on each wing is mouth watering.

Arsenal are probably gonna sign Jesus, raphinha and already have Fabio vieira all in 1 week. Meanwhile we’re still waiting for our first signing… we always go for the most complicated signings ever that drag on and on!! Getting fed up of the same bs now.

We are definitely the best club at not signing people. Possibly on a global scale. There really should be a trophy that we can present to the Glazers to make them feel wanted?

Accidentally posted in another thread. Probably more fitting here than the video thread.

TL :: DR : take a chill pill

Ed Woodward was here for almost a decade and it really wasn't until the tail end of that that the majority of fans saw through his facade and pinpointed him as one of the major bottlenecks in this club being successful again.

Fans turned on Moyes immediately, then LVG then Jose and even Ole before the general consensus was Woodward was Ultimately responsible and the numb nuts started showing up outside his house.

The new guys have been on the job and the same numb nuts , both in Manchester and online , are quick to anger and judgement before a single transfer window has gone by. One in which it's a new manager that just joined , one who dismissed the technical consultant who was in place and lined up target suggestions. We started from scratch with Rangnick gone.

And yet here we are - the pain and resentment that built up over so many years is being misdirected because of fear of the same sht happening again. I get it. But my goodness it's leading to some unhinged behavior like showing up at the new ceos house and the after he does a solid of opening up, trashing him on Twitter and calling it a PR stunt.

Maybe it was a PR stunt but thats a moot point when you look at the thuggish behavior leading up.

One transfer window. One season. You have to give them all at least that. No matter how painful the process might seem. You're a fan not running the damn club. Right now the forum and stadium is just full of pain and resentment. It will take great restraint to get through this as a fan without coming off as entitled, unreasonable and insufferable.

Might as well channel the namesake here:

B E L I E V E

Silly virtue-signalling.
Ten Hag is one of many elite level managers. He's not a magician or a miracle worker. I want him to succeed of course, but I'm not going to pretend to be blind to the problems that will prevent him from doing so - as they have other elite level managers at this club.

If he's not given the tools to succeed then he'll fail, and this transfer window has thus far been a mess.

I was hounded last month when i said we are being taken for a ride and we would most likely not sign anyone who walks into the starting xi, if we're lucky we might sign one. It has taken some of you a months extra time to see it, there are still many more who don't see the writing on the wall.

When I look at the business that teams like Villa and Spurs have quietly been able to do with no fuss, and compare to us, it enfuriates me.

Guys in the office are quizzing me on who we are signing and asking me.

Came to the conclusion between three of us that we cannot fix the squad in one window, will take four or so.

Also where to strengthen? Said rather focus on full backs and centre back than RW, Striker and CM.

Now not saying CM shouldn't be looked at, but a quicker defence with strong full backs will yield better results and give us a platform to kick on.

Getting nowhere with Shaw, AWB, Dalot, Maguire at the back.

If we could go to Carmo, Varane, Skrinar, Lindelof, Lamptey (for example) gives us a great platform to build on and give us the option to play a higher line.

Midfield is the number one position that needs strengthening. We're going nowhere fast with McTominay in the side, and we only have him and Fred making up the numbers.

Shaw is a good technical player, and even Maguire is capable of producing at a higher level than our current midfield.

We probably need at least a couple of defenders in but a bit of protection in front of the defence might actually give us a bit of stability. Signing new defenders won't change McTominay's ability to pass a football.

Midfielders to protect defence absolutely nailed it

Seems footballers are as rare as cars. I am trying to spend 45-55k on a effing car and can't find one to buy (USA). Shortage of everything it seems.

and most have bought more than one player which strengthens them even more
Not every signing strengthens a team though. Some turn out to be shite, as we all know. Spurs could buy 10 new players (none of them are going to be world class) and I'd still be confident of finishing ahead of them with Ten Hag

With us constantly being linked to attacking players I can sort of see what we are trying to do and its very similar to Klopp at Liverpool. He came in and sorted out the attack in a couple of windows and for a period of time they were scoring shit loads but also conceding loads. Then he went out and shored up the defence with Van Dijk and Alisson so maybe thats the road we are headed down.

Well goals win games, as long as we can score more than we concede It's fine.

Nowhere fast? I would say we arent going anywhere with McTominay as a starting midfielder. Well, we might go down with him actually. Im sure Manchester United wont relegate but almost relegated teams like Everton and Leeds have better midfielders than McT.

If the leaks video on Arnold meeting with the fans in the pub were to be believed, I'm relax about this.
We got 200 mils transfer funds available for the manager (excluding money from the sales). We never ever have 200 mils budget in 1 window.
This window could be our best/biggest window ever. Fingers crossed.

Or could this be all PR stunt? Let's see.

Nah, you are still talking utter crap. I will be utterly astounded if we don't sign at least 3 players this summer, probably more. All of them will be first team regulars.

You were wrong then and you are just as wrong now.

Did the video actually say we have 200m though? The clip I seen never mentioned budget, just said there was money.
