Will be funny if Ebiowei also reject us.

Hope not.
He has been linked with Crystal Palace, they've done well to get Eze and Olise. He may see them as a better opportunity for first team football, he also started out at Arsenal so he may want to move back south.

It wouldn't be a surprise if he chose a team that will guarantee him first team minutes. And I don't think we can guarantee him that right now, and we'll look to loan him out.

Whilst likely true, this is a classic Romano update. Cover all bases, don't commit either way.
Sometimes (probably very often), updates are just that. Unconfirmed, and subject to change. Not every update has to get pulses racing and be a huge scoop.

Losing a transfer battle to Crystal Palace while working for Manchester United takes a special kind of loser. Specialists in failure.

Does anyone even know if we were interested in him for the first team squad? Or was it for the reserves?

I don't know him but I am sure we have a couple of youth players equally as promising. Good move for him

Olise will have suitors next summer and Ayew will be out of contract, smart move from him I think.

Definitely not in our starting 11 place which he will easily get at palace.

Up and coming players just don't want to go to stacked teams anymore, and I can't really blame them.

He will get way more chances at Palace than he would here. We will probably buy him for 70m in 2 years anyway.

We can do things in the market that others can only dream of.

Liverpool just signed an 18 year old RB.

In what ways are we a stacked team? We've just lost a ton of experience and haven't replaced any of it yet

Calling our RW "stacked" means the poster is clearly being sarcastic.

Anyway, from that Shrager guy our top four targets were:

Vitinha - PSG bound
Ebiowei - Crystal Palace bound
FDJ - TBC
Eriksen - close fight between us/Brentford *sigh*

Let's see if the chuckle brothers can conjure up some more "top" targets because God knows our scouts haven't a clue (the unfired ones).

We literally have no credibility with agents or players.

Palace can actually show him a route to the first team in the way they've given first team chances to other players.

If I'm an agent or player and looking at how Amad and Pellistri have been treated I don't think I'm signing with us or advising a player to.

Our policy seems to be sign with us, we'll ship you out on loan to somewhere random and if you do well you might get a chance with the first team next season but no guarantees.

Sees what happened to Amad, Pellestri and Dan James and thinks...I fancy taking a smaller step?

It's sensible.

He has a far better chance of consistent minutes at Palace. It's a good decision on his part.

If he takes the next step his time will come. If I was him I'd be making a similar decision.
