It feels like we are stuck in purgatory where top clubs players won’t join us because we are shite. Mid table clubs players won’t join because it’s a side step move and bottom clubs players won’t join us because of development. Where is our existence ?
How dramatic

And I dont blame them. When you witness similar patterns of incompetence for a decade, its easy to see why the fanbase is frustrated.

The people in charge have proven feck all and have overseen utd's worst premier league campaign making mistakes after mistakes(not sacking Ole when needed, appointing Ralf only to not back him and then sack him later). It's difficult to get optimistic about the next season when you have the same dogshit players representing the club.

It feels like we’ve been in an abusive relationship and now we’re being told that the club’s a changed man and things will get better but so far nothing’s changed other that the club is saying it’s doing better. Proof is in the pudding and so far there is none.

Yea and we finished 6th with a 0 goal difference and now have a weaker squad. But all is well and as the days and weeks go by we shld grow up and chill cus there's plenty of time left and are met with laugh smileys galore
It’s exactly like the people who at the beginning of last season were saying ‘it’s only the start of the season, don’t panic’ and everyone saw how that turned out.

I’m not panicked as I still think we will make decent signings (though we will overpay) but I can certainly understand fans starting to get worried.

Somehow I don't see the phone or mailboxes glowing
Promoted clubs always need experience I suppose, I’d be happy with £40 million combined for those three.

We have had a bloated squad for far to long and Woodwards tactic of high salaries to preserve value has massively backfired.

Ole made a decent start to this, we need to press ahead now and buy players to suit our pressing tactics. The whole mentality needs to change.

Rashford and Sancho need to step up and show what it means to play for us, Ten Hag must challenge them with this, Rashford needs to be consistent now, no more crap.

Yea its arrogant to call people who think the same childish and impatient. As though having a different view isn't allowed.
But the response would be, oh no having a different view is fine but just please have some perspective and patience. And as such think the same as me or else feel my patronising scorn.

Can people stop saying there's nothing to worry about or attacking people who are worried? Have you been living in a hole this past 10 years or you want to pretend all of that incompetence and ineptitude never happened?

This is so wrong it's unbelievable.

Offered a deal to Eriksen
In talks with Antony
In talks with FDJ
Spoken to Timber
Now Bachmann.

What's wrong with the constant negativity around our club. No wonder the club's toxic at the moment. We all seemingly hate the club we are supposed to love!
It’s true what you say but United fans could never ever hate the club, they hate the idiots running it who’ve made the club toxic and hide behind the fact they’ve spent a billion pounds on players over the years but during that time they’ve let incompetent directors and executives with no experience use our beloved club as their plaything, remember United are the Disney of football teams. I applaud your passion and we all want the best for our club however we finished on 58 points with a zero goal difference, our worst performance ever in the PL and any competent board of directors would have known that they had to appease the fans instantly by adding at least two top international elite players to the squad within the few weeks of the transfer window to prove that this time they mean change and stop the club drifting into mediocrity.

Two managers lost their jobs, a CEO finally resigned because he couldn’t hide any more, we appointed a DOF with little experience and tomorrow the Glaziers will take their customary £11m dividends so yep fans right now are pretty angry, however most of us will separate our feelings about how the club is run, if we see a good team play good football and embrace the iconic ideals of ‘Theatre of Dreams’, after Of course The Glaziers repair or refurbish the stadium that they’ve promised to the fans.

Its not wrong.
When people day one deal at a time, we mean we cant advance beyond preliminary enquiries for more than one at a go. This has happened last many windows ago.

When you say in talks for xyz, not a single bid was made. So the talks arent exactly proving your point beyond the fact that we can "ask" about a player.

I will never forget that "why so much negativity after 7 games" thread. We lost the next game and OP was like "it's only 1 more game"

Exactly, you need to give them a chance

what went on before was (hopefully) different times. There are signs that the club wants to do things differently.

why don’t you all give it a rest till the window is shut.
Why should we? Is this club a charity home or what? Why aren't experienced personnel in charge of doing things? What have Murtough and Arnold achieved that puts them in such important roles at supposedly one of the biggest clubs in the world?

I also think you give feck all about pre-season. If this window was planned to a little degree, we would have made some progress - buys AND sales. Instead we have Arnold doing PR stunts at a bar.

As I said, all talk and nothing to show for it. Would be happy to be proven wrong.

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"
Yes but United only and there's a severe lack of tweets regarding united.
And a severely large number of posts just moaning... or replying to the moaning.

I marked this thread to follow as thought from op it would be a depository for all things United and latest transfer info. Expected moans to be taken to other threads.

Good intention but quelle surprise, waste of time. Might as well ignore it.

How many wingers do we need?
Sancho, Diallo, Pellestri and now Anthony, not too mention Martial, Rashford, Elanga and even Greenwood. Ronaldos going to get a lot of time uptop this season..........
Whos playing midfield - you have to think Bruno for 1 position, FDJ for another so that leaves Fred, Garner, VDB, Mct all fighting for the other spot.
The squad looks hopelessy unbalanced......
Lets get back to 4-4-2 as quick as possible, big man little man up top.
DDG, Dalot, Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw, Sancho, FDJ, Garner/Fred, Anthony, Bruno, Ronaldo. Defensively and structually that team looks shite and its arguably our best team.

Safe to say the journos know feck all. They might have an idea of who we are targeting but they have no idea the status of the deals. The regular updates saying absolutely nothing is tiring.

After the clusterfeck of the last 10 years, the onus is on the club to prove they've learnt something and are steering the club in the right direction. We've been rudderless since Fergie left having spent over £1bn - it's understandable that fans are cynical. It's been one of the worst large-scale rebuilds of any club in recent years.

I don't think the answer is to come on here and post things like "ha ha the club is fecked. Murtough and Arnold are a joke", though. It's the 23rd of June. Sure, it'd be nice to have De Jong wrapped up in a nice little bow by now but that's the nature of negotiations for players that are the best in class. September will come round and we could feasibly have signed the likes of De Jong, Antony etc., which would mean all this unnecessary bitching and moaning did nothing except make this place miserable for the entirety of the summer. If we completely mess this window up having made a couple of underwhelming signings, that would be the time for action. All this whining is incredibly premature.

We haven't made any signings yet, but it takes two clubs to make a deal. We have to learn not to be taken for a ride, otherwise we will be wasting money like AWB and overspending like on Harry Maguire.

Oh come on now.
Move on if he is so smitten with fecking Spurs. I'd understand if we were talking about a big team but Spurs? Ridiculous.
Move on? Spurs aren't interested. Did you understand the tweet?

Also Spurs are in London and play in the CL. Not sure why you wouldn't understand if he preferred them

He's not, that's the opposite of what this tweet implies. Tottenham have moved on as they believe he won't choose them.

That is what the hold up is. Deciding between Brentford and United doesn't require weeks.

Others have reported on it. He's waiting to see if Spurs are interested or not.

No it isn't. Show me which credible reporter has said he's waiting on Spurs.
