Ronaldo leaving in addition to Cavani and Greenwood would be a nightmare. We just don't have the numbers, and counting on Rashford and Martial is wishful thinking. Bruno won't cut it either.

The leaked documents weren’t proven to be real mate.
There’s no reason to doubt their authenticity. FootballLeaks have been bang on the money about everything they’ve leaked, and the fact that Ronaldo’s lawyers didn’t sue the feck out of Der Spiegel for publishing them speaks volumes.

Chelsea look likely to finish ahead of United again next season, would it matter if it's with Ronaldo scoring 20 goals for Chelsea or for United and leaving for free?

What I don't understand it's how no one is mentioning Ziyech in an Ronaldo swap, ten Hag has already made him play his best football, there's rumours Chelsea might send him to Milan with a loan + obligation to buy and United need a right winger.

Sancho, Bruno as false 9 and Ziyech as a front 3 could surely be one of the best summer market scenarios looking at all the options available.
Ziyech? No, really?

Losing Ronaldo and Pogba in one summer would be a big blow to our sponsors and social media department. This is what it is all about after all.

I hope we aren’t all moaning about him possible moving.

Think it’s actually smart business. Improves our team play and allows ETH to take charge of that dressing room.

It’s clear this soft touches couldn’t handle CR7’s ego.

United are said to be furious that Mendes met with Chelsea and have told Ronaldo he is going nowhere.

@MUFCScoop: United were furious about reports that Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has met with new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly about a potential move to Stamford Bridge. [@MullockSMirror] #MUFC

@MUFCScoop: High-level sources at Old Trafford have made it clear that Ronaldo is going nowhere - and that Ten Hag has already included him in his plans for next season. [@MullockSMirror] #MUFC

This is a potential saga we could really do without this summer. I’m not bothered if he stays or goes, but really want the matter settled quickly either way.

It is obvious he wants out if he has a viable option , he realizes he only has a year or two at most left and wants to go out at the top winning or at least challenging for trophies. He knows that is very unlikely to happen here in the short term anyway.

Glad that’s been out to bed within a couple of hours. Would’ve been a stupid, early Abramovich era signing when he just wanted shiny toys.

It's not about him but rather the lack of immediate replacement.

Would be an incredibly dumb signing and one I cannot imagine Tuchel would ask for. As incredible as his goal scoring instincts still are, he doesn’t fit into our formation or playing style at all.
He asked for Lukaku which was an even worse signing..

Anyway it’s all just talk. He’s putting pressure on the owners to invest this summer.

I think we need him for another year.
Yep. A stop gap striker who can get over 20 goals for the season while we rebuild other areas of the squad in desperate need. The striking situation can be solved when he leaves.

Citation needed. Actually don't bother, you won't find one.

He asked for a centre forward and got Lukaku, which he was seemingly happy with at the time.

If you asked for an ice cream and I gave you a Mini Milk which you then greedily devoured, does than mean you orignally asked for a Mini Milk?

So you get to decide that
It's tricky. If Greenwood isn't charged would we take him back? Possibly not. It's not just about the law. But there has to be some threshold otherwise anyone can ruin a person with accusations.

But the poster was correct in his other points. Ronaldo and high press do not mix, as much as people wish to pretend otherwise for political reasons.

Quite troubling if he didn’t and the club decided to drop £98m without consulting him.
That's almost every Chelsea transfer under Roman. "Are you alright if we sign Sheva/Torres/Kepa/Lukaku?". "yes boss".

Some were disasters, some great but it was what it was. You can't really give credit/place blame on our head coaches for the majority of our signings in the Roman era.

If law somehow proved all the greenwood evidence was fake and staged then who knows? Also, actual images and pictures vs someone leaking text is a big leap of faith to take.

Ronaldo and his pressing does not matter. He is also really good at blocking passing lanes.

"Putting pressure on the owners"

If that’s the case we really are fecked. Who is Ronaldo to put pressure on anyone. He fecked off at his peak 13 years ago and now a much inferior version gets to put pressure on the board to meet his standards.

I don't believe that's the truth though. The real truth is he joined United last season because we were the best option financially.

Now we have no CL football he is trying to find any CL club possible to maintain his precious CL goal scoring record. Problem for him is nobody really can afford him now and if he stays at Utd he might never see CL football again. Messi is 16 goals behind him and he is in the horns of a dilemma.

Only one of the GOATs, who knows what pressure is all about and when to have it. Utd could do some serious accountability. If that means it comes from Cristiano, then I'm all for it.

Player power isn't always bad. You could make a legitimate argument that if peak Ramos is in your squad and he sees something he doesn't like, it's going to be for the good of the team. It's the same with Ronaldo. These players are firmly in the history books for a reason. Really, we should be saying, who the heck are Utd to turn their noses at such a player. Utd are a sleeping giant, having won nothing for 5 years straight. This sort of thing isn't on for players like him.

Him dropping Utd for Madrid 13 years ago just proves my point, he went from strength to strength. Left an incredible team and helped build an even greater one.

Now we have no CL football he is trying to find any CL club possible to maintain his precious CL goal scoring record. Problem for him is nobody really can afford him now and if he stays at Utd he might never see CL football again. Messi is 16 goals behind him and he is in the horns of a dilemma.
Dude, Utd stand to benefit if he wants to add to that tally, surely? The CL 3-peat doesn't just happen like a click of the fingers, he broke records to help make it happen

Both Utd's and Ronaldo's legacy have increased with each other.

He’s fecking shite, offers nothing outside of goals (which he doesn’t score enough of to justify his shortcomings), can’t press from the front, is on massive wages and raped someone.
Hmm no white text. Generational talent is shite and a rapist. Great insight you have there.

True. He has no loyalty to Utd as he was prepared to join City, but why would he? He left at his peak to play for his true love, as he had stated when we bought him. Fergie said Ronaldo always wanted to end up at Madrid.

100% go I was fed up with negative and unsettling drama he brought to the club last season and is repeating it again in the lead up to a new season. He has completely fooled a lot of fans who's judgement is far too clouded of a nostalgic view of ronaldo. The guy does not care about the club or fans and would leave in a heartbeat if any champions league team came in for him and could pay his over priced wages.

There's people on here that actually say we don't deserve Ronaldo. He should go to Chelsea we're not good enough for him.:lol::lol:

I'd personally be happy if the Ronaldo circus leaves. Bayern and now Chelsea have come out saying that they've been offered Ronaldo. Mendes has definitely been to every major club across Europe. Unfortunately for us I don't think there's a team dumb enough to take him.

Let's hope Chelsea with their new American owners take the bait as I don't see any other 'big' team going anywhere near him.
