He has his heart set for Barcelona but if Barca cant do the deal then i would prefer him over Antony. He has already played in PL and is ahead in development also. Just 3 years older than Antony
What if Barca has money next season, want him but only want to pay 50m? I personally will avoid player who wants to play for barca only. Barca is their dream destination so may as well leave them alone.
Edit
Only if Barca renews Dembele's contract then there is no chance for Raphinha to go there.

Yeah but he is playing for Leeds right now. If he moves to Arsenal or Manutd then i dont think he would want to move next season only.

There are lots of young wingers out there want to play for Arsenal or Man Utd. They are not as EPL proven as Raphinha so there is a risk but they will cost less as well. That's why DOF and scouts are paid top dollars to do their jobs. Barca is a dream destination for south american football players so I will personally leave them alone.

I prefer players that doesn't look like a star and shine a lot.
All i want is.....players that shine only on the pitch.
Look simple like others. But shining like others.

Top football skills with a top end product skills. A effience football players.

Look at past football legends. From Pele, trough Maradonna, Zidane, Brazil Ronaldo, Cantona, Messi, Scholes, Ronaldo, Yaya Toure, Viera, Kevin De Bruyne.

To be honest. They didn't look really fancy and shine a lot by....the look. Just normal like others. But in common. The feets and football brain and vision did the talking and let them shine on the pitch.

I am afraid of too fancy football players. Then you are focusing more on your looks and how good you will looks in the camera. Than totally 100 % focus on the football.

Raphinha doesn't look to fancy yet. For my taste. The boy still let his feets talk the football.

Raphinha is a really good team player. Beside his good dribling skills too.

Like Ajax relation from Dusan Tadic --------> Haller

I can see Raphinha --------> Ronaldo

Martinez ------> Ronaldo& Rashford

Eriksen-------> Ronaldo & Rashford

+ Tadic ------> Haller:

+ Raphinha ------> Ronaldo & Rashford:

+ L.Martinez --------> Ronaldo & Rashford :

I can see what Frenkie De Jong, Martinez, Raphinha and Eriksen will do for Ronaldo, Rashford and United. More goals, more goals and rise the chance to win football matches.

A CF success is depend and rely on the top service he got from his teammates. Every manager in this football can't not deny it. Even top manager like Pep and Klopp. And that was what Ten Hag doing when he bough Haller from West Ham and Tadic from Southampton.
You simply don't buy tennis ball, without not buying the tennis racket.

What would you do with Haller = the tennis ball? If you dont buy Dusan Tadic too = the tennis racket?

No rocket science need. Just simple human logical.

I'd be less pissed off if he goes to Chelsea than Arsenal. Don't want Arsenal to have nice things.

I guess Dembele is staying at Barca then. Chelsea with Raphinha and Sterling would be a force next season.

Don't think he improves them massively over Ziyech.

Chelsea sign attacking players every single window. Such a high turnover of them.

Expensive summer considering they also need two new centre backs.
Indeed but it seems like there may be a lot of outs with Azpilicueta, Alonso, Ziyech, Werner. Of course not sure how many of those will end up being loans or very small fees

Are they going 4-3-3? I can't imagine how that would work. Jorginho + Kante is too lightweight. No proper #9 and a bunch of attacking mids (Gallagher, Mount, Havertz)

------------ Jorginho ---- Kante ------------
--- Raphinha -- Mount ---- Sterling ---
-------------------- Havertz? -------------------

I suppose we're done with their boring 5-3-2 and will actually make them watchable now.

Raphinha will be a wing back (probably on the left) and Sterling will be one of the 2 up front.

We had a completely past it Azpi and the average Alonso playing wingback for us for the majority of last season so that definitely contributed to us being “boring” to opposition supporters. With Reece and Chilly fit from the start we should be much more exciting even if we stick with the back 3.

Other chelsea fans on here were saying Tuchel's preferred formation is some variation of a 4-4-2 and that he might use it next season.

No idea, he might actually chose to use Raphinha at WB.

I think Tuchel might be looking to be a really aggressive pressing team next season:

Kante
Gallagher - Mount
Raphinha - Havertz - Sterling

If I’m being entirely honest I just don’t see enough in his game to have everyone so interested in him. I must be missing something if 2 big and 2 biggish clubs are all over him.

Lads, there’s not a chance in the world that we’d spend £55-65m on a winger and convert him into a wingback. Raphinha himself would surely never agree to coming here if that were the case. We’ve got 2 of the very best wingbacks in the world already.

I thought they played more of 343 last season? The reliable Chelsea reporters still have them signing two center backs, so I guess they might still be sticking with 3 center backs. Mount might have to compete with the likes of Kovacic, Jorginho and Kante for the two midfield spots available as well as providing cover for the Sterling, Havertz and Raphinha front three. Anyway Tuchel definitely has the tools to play with next season should they get their targets.

This feels like what happened with Pedro with us. God that stung at the time.

who do you feckin think ?
Weirdly glad he is going to Chelsea rather than Arsenal. The bonus is that this also annoys Leeds fans more as they seem to have an particularly nasty irrational old hatred for Chelsea going back to something that happened in the 70s.

Meh. Doesn't close the gap on Liverpool City and doesn't pull them away from the Spurs/Arse/Utd pack in my opinion.

Just survived last season and now Philips and Rafinha are gone. They'll do well to stay up this season.
