Fingers crossed he kicks on this year and shows everyone why he was so highly rated while he was at Dortmund. Playing under a progressive manager like ETH who know how to use players with his skillset should also help.

Shaw hopefully being fit for the whole season should help him too.

Anyone think we’ll see him on the right this season?

Rashford needs to play left to get the best. And with Garnacho and Hannibal emerging, it seems natural to switch Sancho over to the right imo

We'll need the correct RB for it. The other problem we've got is, there's just too many right footers in the team or players with a tendency to drift to the left.

I can see it work, if we have a RB who can stretch the pitch and we have a CM who likes to drift in the right side passage to link up with Sancho and the right back. We don't at the moment.

Another thing is, he and Rashford are fighting for a World Cup spot, so if they aren't performing now then you've got to question when will they ever.

I think we can see a totally different Sancho under Ten Hag. Hopefully he goes back to being the player he was at Dortmund.

Yeah he was great over there for Dortmund. The difference between him and Rashford is that he doesn't just use his left foot for standing.
His vision and composure around the box will work on the right just as much as the left. He's not just a shift it and shoot merchant.

Think this will be the year he really comes alive. He showed glimpses of his talent last year, but he looks determined in training.

Might be nothing in it, But a journalist (i think it was Ducker) just put a training video up and it looks like he's playing on the right...

Seriously hope he settles next season/fits ETH's style. So much talent, would be a real shame if he can't realize it here.

Looks confident and in great shape - he really is some talent when on form. Worth the ticket cost alone.

Great player from a skill set perspective. I don’t know if he has the intensity to press and play hard over and over as the season progresses
Eh?

Even in the shit show that was last season, Sancho pressed one of the hardest out of the entire team. Every game.

Has such ability. A player that you can only see the best of in a very high-functioning unit though I'd say.

Haven't had a chance to see the game yet but sounds like he was on top form from the match thread?

I really do think ETH will work wonders with him.

His time to shine under a real football manager.

Got a few months to make his way into the England side for the world cup.
