He's always injured, if we can get something for him we should take it...good luck to him

Surely he isn’t on big wages? He’s only signed one extension since he’s been here and he did bloody well to get that.

We should sell him even if it’s for a low price. Loaning him would not be any good for us. Roma will definitely try to low ball us like they did with Smalling.

He's a good squad option, had high potential but if he needs to go and United can get 20m+ then go for it, bring in someone else.

Martinez, Lindelof, Maguire and Varane is more than enough. I'd rather sell Bailly and get a RB or get more money towards Antony

Can Varane be fit? Do you guys really believe Varane can turn it around here? I don’t feel positive but will be glad to be proved wrong.

Exactly. See absolutely no reason from our side why we’d go for a loan.
Cause if he does a fantastic job in Italy we get millions more for him. Either from Roma or another Italian side that get to watch him play (cough cough juve or inter l)
Zero reason to loan him out. If Varane keeps getting injured and Maguire and Lindelöf repeat last seasons performance levels it would be good to have Bailly.
Sell him or use him. Loan is useless.
I’m inclined to give him a go under ten Hag. How is ten hag with running players into the ground or not
No. He really isn’t.

He’s good one minute, then will either score an OG, give a penalty away or get sent off.

He’s the epitome of a liability
Where are the actual numbers on him. Funny with the own goal situation, anyone who has played defender knows how silly it is to judge someone for the majority of them. Look at maguires last one, he’s in the perfect position to intercept the ball from the attacker, attacker is offside anyway but it counted. It’s a matter of inches and so stupid most of the time. Do you have any numbers in Bially?

Surely one to loan us maguire. If he does well elsewhere he can be sold for far more than bially.

The true north.
If we don't have a financial reason to sell, I'd rather keep him. He's not blocking any young player's minutes and there's no use in selling him for peanuts or loaning him. He's got talent and physical ability in droves, and I'd imagine the mental mistakes (which are over-reported imo, Maguire acts headless far more often) would decrease if he got decent minutes.

I'd rather sell Varane and hopefully get some real money tbh

He’s injured way too often to ever get consistent and stop fecking around

Same. So much potential and has been a top player, but is looking now as though his health is giving way. Like so many other players, I fear we acquired him too late.

Surprises me that Mourinho's dumb enough to sign someone who will be injured for most of the season, but I'm happy Ten Hag's decision to feature pre-season Beckenbauer seems to have paid off.

I'd have had him in the team for the 2nd half of last season, but we either need to play him or sell him

If he's behind lindelof then he's 5th choice and needs to go for the sake of his own career. I'd rather sell lindelof personally but it is what it is.

He signed Dybala, Bailly has been injured less than him in the last year.

If we get anywhere close to 15m for him , it's a steal. We just signed a CB and that position is already crowded. He had a good pre-season tour, sell now while atleast someone wants him.

Looks more like Maguire and Martinez first 11 with Varane and Lindelof as backup.
Shouldn’t be but we all know it will be… Imagine Varane being back up to Maguire  A guy thats won multiple champions leagues.

Wasn’t it mourinho that bought him for us? Obviously likes the guy.

I like him but Bailly is expendable, as we have too many CDs and one more comming in who we must expect to start.
Prefer to sell, but Ill take wages off the books and one less unhappy person in the dressing room.

Yes, Maguire and Lindelof certainly are the iron-wall, right?
No, but they don’t do overhead kicks in their own box, miss control the ball as the last defender or try to beat a man on the edge of their own box. You can’t have lunatics in your defence if you want a functioning back 5

Despite all of that, Bailly still concedes less goals than Maguire & Lindelof, has less errors leading to goals, tackles with better efficiency, and gets more assists. Aka we score more and concede less when he plays. Last time I checked that was the magical strategy to winning.

Him & Varane are our two best options for the RCB. Trusting Maguire is guaranteed failure.

Because he hardly plays so how can he have higher stats than those two? And he hardly plays because he’s always injured or does mad shit so no one trusts him

He's been here 6 years and played 113 games in all competitions.

That's truly jonesy that is and has to be time to part ways now he's 5th choice at best.

If there is an offer 15-20 mil, we should sell immediately. We need to recoup some of the transfer fee paid for underperforming, I really hope to see more players leave or sold e.g. Phil Jones, Brandon Williams, AWB, Axel, Chong, Amad and even Elanga. Hopefully, we can get 2-3 solid young signing who can further develop in the squad.

If we believe the figures in the internet, he is on less than 75k weekly, which is not huge, so hopefully, the club can sell him for £15M

Stats without context will never prove anything.

Bailly is a monster in one breath, a liability the next.
In a tight defensive minded structured team he will get away with it, which is why under Jose his stats will be really good, yet in an attacking more expansive team he won't get away with it.
I would like to see his stats under Jose compared to under Ole. That'd make for an interesting comparison.
