Poxy club social media and their insistence on their weird number order rather than positional.
It's Hansen-Aarøen, these guys can't even get the names right.Tweet

Yeah I'm surprised as well. He didn't play yesterday at all.No AWB in the squad? Did he play some minutes yesterday?
I am curious. It could be a number of things. Could simply be Chong has made a better first impression. Could be he's physically more ready. Could be the intention is to loan Diallo out. Could be Chong picked up ETH's instructions quicker (he is Dutch, after all). It could be Diallo is shite. Who knows.Amad can't even get on the bench yesterday and doesn't even get a start over Chong today. His chances of being a squad player this season are slim by the looks of things.
Chong over Amad is a joke, its blatantly obvious that Chong won't make it here, why is he getting a start ahead of Amad?Tweet

Looks like it. Quite a shame. Always a risk with managers who are very particular about what they want.EtH doesn't rate Hannibal or amad imo.
He looked painfully average when he did get his chances (couple of times during the friendlies?)I am curious. It could be a number of things. Could simply be Chong has made a better first impression. Yeah, but it’s only like ten quid for a whole year.Don't they kick you out out when the match starts
Or they’re just not very good. Being a skilful footballer doesn’t mean you’re good at the tactical side, intelligent on and off the ball and coachable.Looks like it. Quite a shame. Always a risk with managers who are very particular about what they want.
To be fair Chong had a very good spell playing at Birmingham and seems to have something about him! At his age though he really does need to have a stormer today! My head canon is that Chong is being given time to change ETH's mind on him and show him something as he's coming to an age where he should be sold if he doesnt have a future here.
Oh stop with VDB moaning, ETH rates him much more than "know it all" Cafters on here. That's nice of us to play vdb and start with ten men.....
I think he's put in the shopping window. My head canon is that Chong is being given time to change ETH's mind on him and show him something as he's coming to an age where he should be sold if he doesnt have a future here.
I am Dutch and also an Ajax supporter and I can't understand his selection. Would have loved to see either Savage or IqbalThat's nice of us to play vdb and start with ten men.....
Might be. Might not be. I've heard from Ajax fans that ETH is quite stubborn at times in regards to his XI, and often wont give some young players the chance even if they impress a lot. Which is normal, almost every manager has their favourites. But if ETH continues ignoring Garnacho for example, and he leaves and joins another club and rips it up, then it will suck obviously. But I'd rather not imagine scenarios and worry about it, because today's team looks very exciting. I really hope ETH picked Chong over Amad because of some Dutch favoritism, because I really cant see why someone would choose him for footballing reasons. Maybe his physicality or lack thereof?Or they’re just not very good. Being a skilful footballer doesn’t mean you’re good at the tactical side, intelligent on and off the ball and coachable.
On paper both of their technical abilities would have seen them be great fits for ETH style - the fact they’re not getting into his side suggests they’re just not up to it at the moment.
He'll be the backup RW we're crying out for.I am Dutch and also an Ajax supporter and I can't understand his selection. Would have loved to see either Savage or Iqbal
Sorry.Oh stop with VDB moaning, ETH rates him much more than "know it all" Cafters on here.
Only if you're not logged inDon't they kick you out out when the match starts
He can't play right wingHe'll be the backup RW we're crying out for.
Number is by far the most sensible way of doing it.Poxy club social media and their insistence on their weird number order rather than positional.
I have no sense of humor for terrible jokes, sorry.Sorry.
Note to self, must not make jokes. Geko has no sense of humour....
That's weird, I haven't renewed my membership for this season, yet can watch all pre-season games without any issues as long as I'm logged into my account.Yeah, but it’s only like ten quid for a whole year.
Lisandro is sexehNobody has commented on how good looking any of our players our.
Top Red points deducted.
I’m out
Well, that's a matter of opinion really. Bit like vdb being shite.I have no sense of humor for terrible jokes, sorry.
Yep I was only partly joking but getting him match fit is hardly the worst thing in the universe. Think I'd rely on a match fit VdB more than a match fit Iqbal. He can't play right wing
When did you make that decision, have you told Chong?Chong over Amad is frankly baffling. Chong has no future whatsoever at this club

To be fair, Amad has been pretty shite this pre-season and is nowhere near ready for this level.Chong over Amad is frankly baffling. Chong has no future whatsoever at this club
