Finished the third episode, Nuno looks very introverted and his mistakes clearly didnt help... Ramsdale would get on my nerves very fast. Always seems wrong to hear GK shouting and ranting about the performances of guys who just ran 15km.
Dont get me wrong, Saka is a manager's dream. Too bad you cant have a team full of Sakas.

Arteta comes across well and pretty likable after the first 3 episodes.
Always thought Arteta was out of his depth but after seeing this he's even worse that I thought, that bit where he draws the heart and brain is a new level of cringe!

Josh Kroenke comes across well. Much better than I'd imagined, to be honest. He seems affable and genuine. Also, after his years at United, nice to actually hear Albert Stuivenberg in action. Can see why Louis brought him in.
Finally, Arteta seems like a really smart guy. I expected cringe, but I didn't really get this from this. Even the heart and brain stuff was well explained and logical for professional elite sportsmen.

It's been a decent time killer so far, but I expected nothing more.
I agree some of his speeches sound cringey as feck, but it seems the players like him and buy into it which is basically his job.

Said it before, this whole thing is another PR machine to show Arteta in good light. You could see the way when they lose camera focuses on players and how Arteta's cringe team talk is shown as a savior.
Honestly it's a smart move ny Arsenal. They are banking on Arteta and the best way to keep most fans buy into him is show him in good light. There is a reason even his cringefest things are shown in a positive light.
He has been backed by the club to the hilt now and this season is very important for him as well as the club. Some of their fans can pretend missing out on top 4 is fine if they achieve more points than last season but truth is it will be a massive failure and a huge egg on the club's face. You can run this PR only for some time. His PR has run for close to 3 years, now to walk the talk.

I'm really not sure what you expected. Arteta to throw a few DDTs on Auba or rugby tackle while dressed only in a towel and baseball cap?
I actually expected to hate this, find it completely cringeworthy and lose all respect for Arteta.

No doubt massively helped by some rousing strings on the soundtrack. The right music could make a man reading out his shopping list sound like the final scene of Dead Poets Society.
Maybe Arteta missed a trick when he played YAWN. Should have used the documentary soundtrack instead.
Oh of course. I know I'm a sucker for a well produced PR piece. But my expectations were Brendan Rodgers levels of cringe, and I'm relieved that I've come out of this not thinking that Arteta is a complete idiot and charlatan.
I honestly think an "inspiring" speach would be wasted on me, regardless of who was giving it. Even if it was Fergie in his pomp, although I'm sure in the moment it would be incredible but then you have to go and stand around for ages in the tunnel and start thinking about what's for dinner.
I think a few words from a charismatic leader who you believe in could work quite well. Fergie and his “lads it’s Spurs” would be a classic. For a sport like rugby where they need to be at fever pitch from minute one I can see the need for a really passionate hype man (some good clips of rugby dressing room speeches over the years) but any speech involving flip charts and diagrams can get to feck, obviously.

It's interesting so far, Arteta comes across as a good person. Unfortunately though he doesn't come across as a good manager, I was shocked at how poor his team talks are, it's very David Brent. I was impressed how Jose came across in the Spurs all or nothing, tactical insight was class especially at half time. It's interesting how Arsenal take defeats, it's Ramsdale who seems to be most vocal. The rest have the head down, nobody saying anything.
Arteta will never ever, win anything significant, that's what I learned from this. He's not a top manager and rubbing hands together, getting the kit man to chat about a derby or playing YAWN at training, is ever going to be the difference in winning big honours. Oh and Josh Kroenke is a creep, so false.

Arsenal done their transfer business early, same as spurs. This could prove to be an advantage to them.
