I am extremely surprised by the negativity toward him. He is quality, and a bargain for the quoted price. Whether he is the right fit for your coach and system is another story.People keep sharing this absolute crap - if people would just use their eyes and brains they would know that there really is no comparison between the two.
Rabiot is a big step up from McTominay I dont care what people say
18m is peanuts these days.18m I assumed he was going for peanuts. For feck sake
they were gonna have a statue but instead we’ll just watch Rabiot in the middle of the pitchAre they going to do a big unveiling for a player no one wants?
You ask me a question only the management of Juventus can answer. I said in another thread couple months ago I don't mind him in Arsenal for 15m for squad depth. Why do Juventus want rid of him if he's such high quality?
This is the same Juventus who have loaned out Kulusevski to Spurs, too. They're not exactly thinking straight either right now.Why do Juventus want rid of him if he's such high quality?
Wouldn't it be simpler all around if you just pointed out any problem you're aware of with these stats, if there are any? What, are they just for one game or something?Do you consider that Rabiot is a midfielder that normally averages 83.6% of his passes?
It's paltry in relative terms.Remind me how much we received for Telles, how much we will receive for Bailly, Jones etc.
£15m is not 'paltry', especially for a player they want rid of.
Well yes, Rabiot struggled at Juve but he might do better with us. There was a period he was a very competent player for PSG.Is this supposed to be a defence of Rabiot?
Use their eyes for what, if you watch him play for Juventus he does a worse job as a central midfielder than our own, I mean I don't buy into stats alone but a midfielder with bad pass completition is a midfielder with bad pass completion in a worse league!People keep sharing this absolute crap - if people would just use their eyes and brains they would know that there really is no comparison between the two.

The majority of people are running with some half wit journalist opinions that this is a panic buy with the potential of being a troublemaker.I am extremely surprised by the negativity toward him. He is quality, and a bargain for the quoted price. Whether he is the right fit for your coach and system is another story.
No Philippe Auclair is an actual journalist, with actual sources. He doesn't pick up L'Equipe or listen to L'After Foot and act as if he has clue.Poor man's Philippe Auclair
It is. Bissouma went for nearly twice that and I don't think he's twice as good18m is peanuts these days.
Look at his stats throughout his career if you are going to look at stats. As well as watching him. He is comfortable on the ball, can carry the ball well. Very good playing holding midfield. Massive upgrade on McTominay and thats just a fact.Use their eyes for what, if you watch him play for Juventus he does a worse job as a central midfielder than our own, I mean I don't buy into stats alone but a midfielder with bad pass completition is a midfielder with bad pass completion in a worse league!
That's what I'm saying, Laurens is an Auclair wannabe! No Philippe Auclair is an actual journalist, with actual sources. He doesn't pick up L'Equipe or listen to L'After Foot and act as if he has clue.
Surely they’d have taken less if the reports in here are true - they were about to pay him to leave? Maybe that means they aren’t true but there’s a lot of smoke.18m is peanuts these days.
Well, that's very commendable, but I nevertheless would perhaps not take it for granted that everyone has read them just because you've posted them a few times. I didn't post it because I have much of an opinion on them, I just thought they were a topical piece of information worth sharing. From what I can see, and assuming they're relevant stats (looks like FBREF, no?), they don't make a case Rabiot is a better player. But of course, that's not a question you can answer with stats alone. I've not seen Rabiot play very much, so am not really qualified to make a strong judgment on him. I have seen enough of McTominay, and must say I find it a little hard to believe that someone playing regularly for France isn't a better overall player than him. Also, I would say that generally McT is a player whose stats look better than what you witness on the pitch. Sometimes that's because important things are hard to notice, but with him it feels more like some critical failings are not well caught by stats.I already shared them several times. I'm more interested in your opinion since you only shared a picture.
That was PastoreDidn't Cantona say he was going to win the Balon d'Or once? It was some midfielder for PSG it was just a bizarre statement
He is on very decent wages for them. Why do Juventus want rid of him if he's such high quality?
You shouldn't be really. Place is toxic as feck right now.I am extremely surprised by the negativity toward him. He is quality, and a bargain for the quoted price. Whether he is the right fit for your coach and system is another story.
United fans think Pogba was (and is) shit and Juve fans are elated they got him back on a free.Juventus fans think he is shit and are glad he is going and now he might be coming here, so what being less shit than what we have but still being properly shit is a good thing?
I don't take him seriously, he's the same poster who had Aaron Wan Bissaka in his all time EPL squad and was mesmerised by the gegenpress.

Considering our lot faff about trying to talk people down constantly I would imagine it's a no, we do overpay for players but we don't ignore the opportunity to negotiate if we think the price can be dropped.Surely they’d have taken less if the reports in here are true - they were about to pay him to leave? Maybe that means they aren’t true but there’s a lot of smoke.
No player can single handedly fixed man utd issue. Not even a prime Messi or CR7 can do that. It is a team or maybe even a club management issue. All these posters who purely say we should sign him just cause he is better than McT are going to be sorely disappointed when a month from now we see he isn’t the answer to our midfield woes. His work ethic isn’t the best. He will become a distraction. We will sign him to a 5+1 year contract. Give him £200k in wages and we will eventually send him on loan 2 years down the road after it doesn’t work out. We seen this movie before. We won’t improve one bit unless we stop throwing money away at these ST solutions.
We just lost our first game of the season whilst other teams looked good.I am extremely surprised by the negativity toward him. He is quality, and a bargain for the quoted price. Whether he is the right fit for your coach and system is another story.
That and everyone was crying out for the club to sign a "ball winner" that could get the best out of Pogba and now we're signing one when he's no longer here.Tweet
