Would be sad to see him go but it's probably the change in scenery he needs.

Thoroughly one dimensional who is only effective against teams who play a defensive high line. He's only good enough for the bench in a team with high aspirations. Should be moved on for anything above 60m.

We are not actually short of cover in his preferred left wing position and if we spent any fee on a decent RW option or an out and out forward then it is probably a win/win at this point. He has the ability to play at the top level but has not really delivered for us for some time now and probably needs a change of scenery. PSG would be a breath of fresh air and with so many bigger names there he could get out of the spotlight and focus on his game which I think he is keen to do.

Surprised to see the clamour for him to be sold when there's not even a sniff of what the actual fee could be. He's at his bottom value right now. Equally, I could see this as a ploy to get a new huge contract - and that's the tricky bit, we can't really be giving him a 200K a week deal now when he's been gash for so long.

At this point I think it's more of a gamble to keep him around and hope his form improves.

I just don't see it happening unfortunately.

Good fortune does not knock twice … take the money. I bet Elanga/Eriksen will score as much as Rashford this season.
If we get Savic he can easily score the mighty 5 goals that Rashford scored last season.

What's he on now? Can't be far off this?

Goldbridge did a poll and with 40k votes 83% said sell.

Yep exactly this. Martial's not really a LW in my book, he's a CF. This will clear the LW spot for Sancho where he's best. We'll desperately need Antony if we get money for Rashford.

 state of people in here...aye we are crying out for forwards and going to sell Rashford
Meh. Guy is hardly a footballer these days, never mind a forward of any kind of use to us. Get rid. Even if we fail to get a replacement I'd rather see Garnacho and other kids get the chance than waste more time on this dude.

Sterling went for around 50m. No way Rashford fetches anywhere near that.
Sterling was left with a year. We have the option to extend Rashfords next summer so effectively he has 2 years left.

We cannot afford to sell him at the moment. Had the window gone the way we all expected then this would have been perfect.
Depends how much the potential fee is. But even if it is a considerable fee, you'd imagine that would almost all go towards Antony. In which case I agree with you. One in one out doesn't really help us right now.

If you have a forward and still crying out for one. Then it mean he is not good enough. Simple. No two ways about it.

If Juve can get money for their deadwood we should be able to do the same. Please let this happen.
A player isn't deadwood if they are starters with nobody remotely close to their level in the squad... And no, 18 year old Garnacho is not a better footballer than Rashford at the moment.

This would be the 1st time Rashford have suitors right? Don't recall him being linked to any club previously since his debut. We've been waiting for 3 years now for him to recapture his 19/20 form and I don't think it will happened again. Him moving there would be win-win situation for him and us to be honest. Change of scenery might do wonders to him and we get decent money and we can give much needed exposure to likes of Garnacho.

Also can we get poll here Mods?

Can't see him leaving United, his entire imagine is wrapped up in this club and let's be honest, with Rashford his image comes first.

Think he's on 200K - but he's not worth that. Unless the club are dishing them out on a commercial value basis (a la Ronaldo). We've been terrible for so long with contracts and we've even continued that under Murtough with rewarding Bruno with a major upgrade with no need to do so.

They need to buy him in the next week or two so United can bring in a replacement, but I hope they lump 70 million our way.

Rashford was utter dogshit for the entirety of the last season, not a whole lot better the season before. Guarantee there are a handfull of players at the club that could provide far more than him.

We aren't crying out for left wingers. We are crying out for central strikers and right wingers. You need 2 players per position. We have 1 in each attacking position apart from centrally where we have 1 crock and 1 37 year old that wants out.

Needs to go, but we'll probably sign him on a 5+1 deal at £425k a week or something.

This is as real as the Mourinho to PSG links in January before being given a contract extension by Woodward.

Want him gone

However, it'll never happen. Utd can barely get in one forward, the boards mindset will reject this because they don't have the ability to get in more.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.

It needs to be Gakpo plus Antony. And a striker to replace Ronaldo. If you’d asked me in May when we had time and I thought we had scouts I would have sold for 50m plus. Now? I don’t see it.

It's very telling that our club is crying out for goals, and yet, the majority of comments in here are in favour of Rashford being sold.

Rashford is not seen as someone who can score goals, or at least not in any worthwhile numbers. He's taking a starting spot from somebody else who potentially can. We can't afford to be carrying any passengers this season if we want to get back in the Champions League positions.

I also don't think Rashford has it in him to stay and prove us all wrong.
