Agents trying to get him a big pay rise given how badly his form has dropped off last 18 months. The club needs to hold firm and not give him a deal he doesn't deserve. No more overpaying players.

It's not sustainable to keep underperforming players on huge contracts. I will be really upset if United fell for his or his agents clumsy PR efforts to get him a new contract.

Also, he's pretty deluded if he thinks most United fans would be cool with him earning more money when he's been shite for almost 2 seasons.

In the current market and with his form, what would realistically Utd get for him? Considering how bad we are at dealing on sales, I'd be surprised if we got more than £40m but if it was Liv/Chel/Shitty they'd be getting around £65-70m.

The Daily Mail are reporting that Rashford has prioritised staying but his representatives have been in Paris having talks with PSG.

Bite their hands off! After last Saturday, it dawned on me that our Rashford is never getting much better than what we see now. There's no elite winger/striker there sadly. Anyone offering us good money for him should be welcomed with open arms.

No chance we'll sell him this window, as we'll end up with Elanga or Amad playing every week.
There can't be anyone who thinks we'd move quick enough to bring a replacement in.

I think Rashford might go on to be good again but we really need to be less emotional with our players, holding on to non performers for emotional value gets you nowhere

An improved deal for him from United would be a sign of how badly we continue to be run.

I'm writing off last season because it was an impossible situation for everyone. I've been consistent in that with everyone. I think Mbappe would've been shit if he played for United last season.

Rashford is somebody who was our best and most important player not long ago, until Ole overplayed him into a spinal injury. Takes time to recover from, and even still he had back to back 20+ goal seasons before last season.

Yes, if Rashford doesn't pick it up he will be gone. But you don't sell him now, when if Ten Hag gets him kicking again, he can be a 100m player. That's just dumb to do. Especially when we have no options.
Why are you writing off? The team that started last season was the team that finished 2nd the season before, and then added Varane, Sancho and Ronaldo, therefore it was an even better team. And when he failed in that team he was given a second chance and failed worse, finished the season on the bench. When other clubs replace their manager midseason, you know, like Tottenham, that doesn't seem to give their players free reign to down tools the remainder of the season, in fact it's usually a kick in the ass. I just want to know why that has to be written off? And no vague hyperbole, specifically.

I think in the long term both he and the club (United) would benefit from this move. His form has declined massively over the last year and a half and a new challange will be good for him. However, it is late in the windows and it would be too risky to move him now, we would need two more attackers and at least, one of them should be quite proven.

To all the claims its about a new contract, there must be something to it if it's breaking from French sources first no?

Rashford, De Gea and Shaw are players who shouldn't be offered a new contract, the same was for Bruno but it's too too late now.

If he comes out and says he doesn’t want to leave, this is his club and wants to fight for his place here then maybe keep an extra year and see how he does. If he ready to feck off then we know what his mentality is.

He says that shit all the time.

He is not a top level player.

Sell him.

I'm just not buying it, Rashford has been poor, banged up, and overpaid, unless he took a drastic paycut, nothing about this move would make sense from the new direction PSG's been taking. Sounds about as credible as Barcelona's impending 100m transfer a few years back.

Not really, his brother met with PSG. Clubs meet agents all the time, but that doesn't mean they are going to sign their clients.

Sesko's agents met with everyone in Europe but he was always going to sign with Leipzig.

Good riddance! He has been horrible and there is zero sign of him improving, even under Ten Hag. We really, really should jump on this opportunity, if this is even remotely true.

I am CERTAIN our idiots of the club executives won't do it, however. For many horrible reasons, including social media following.

Sigh

People saying sell him, well...that's pretty unlikely and probably would be rather silly. We haven't even got our target forwards over the line yet so the chance of us selling a senior forward in that scenario with Ronaldo with one leg out the door is pretty remote. If we actually had a couple in it would be a viable situation.

You guys have had the likes of Moïse Kean, Choupo-Moting, Icardi and Jese Rodriguez in the team over the last few years. It's really not hard to understand why they might think Rashford could be a welcome addition to the forward options especially after losing ADM and looking to sell Icardi.

If we want to actually make any money from departing players, we need to sell them while they still retain some value. Rashford has maximum 2 years left. The time to sell is now.
