Buck stops with him. He has to take responsibility.

Everyone knows the shit squad we have and the technical limitations of these players. Yet, we are playing out from the back? Has he even seen these players before.

He is going to get sacked for sure. He may very well be a competent manager, but if Cleanslate FC is his attitude, he's gone.

Completely ignored RR.

Recruitment has been amateur. But that's on the club rather than ETH.

Tacts have been terrible.

Not looking good de Boer, sorry ETH.

Playing smallest CB in PL? without a ball winner in front of the defense would be suicidal and any fans who watch EPL regularly can tell.

Now, not trying to seriously sign a DM or Deep lying CM for this whole summer was utterly ridiculous as we knew the issue for years.

Obviously, not all are his faults but I think ETH has to learn quick about EPL. It seems like he knew feck all about it so far.

It's almost like they don't realise our underlying problems. The players in our backline are underwhelming but they're often massively exposed by our midfield giving the ball away in poor positions.

It's the same for our attack, because don't move the ball forward effectively. Yet here we are just signing defenders and last season forwards.
Worst part is even with a pitch perfect midfield I still think this guy would struggle. He looks completely tactically naive, inept and clueless.

Like he hasn't done absolutely any homework at all.

Should have listened to Rangnick. He was a shit manager but he identified our problems - 10 plus players needed. No more clean slates and he needs to show that, because the feckers will eat him alive if he keeps them around.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.
To be fair our biggest issue last year - as Ralf said an issue that could be seen by a blind man - was our lack of physicality and intensity off the ball. To correct this he’s stuck Eriksen in midfield and bought a 5 foot 9 CB. Football is about off the ball and intensity. We have zero. Everyone wants the ball to feet. Nobody runs in behind. Nobody wins the ball back. Nobody wins any duels. They all fall over at any contact with their back to goal. That 4th goal - why the feck has their player been able to run out their box with the ball by 4 players? What the feck. We’ve fixed absolutely zilch this summer. It’s not on him - it’s on the whole club. It’s a fecking mess.

I don’t really get the ‘let him change the entire team before judging him’. His idea of a rebuild seems to be getting Ajax/Eredivisie players who are not good enough, unless he shows he has a plan that could actually work he should be judged on performance of current team.

He has to show he can get anything right before we can give him more trust.

He's stuck with him lets be honest. World record signing for a centre back, captain of the club etc. Won't be long til he's out of the team in my opinion.

He literally has Varane sitting there. There is no one worldwide who would best an eyelid if he picked Varane over Maguire.

It's his choice to go with Maguire

Tbf, our fanbase begged and backed them into spending a feck load of money assembling this squad 'backing' the last manager.

Turns out the last manager was an idiot who got us to spend money on crap. It's easy to right off 300m odd spent for the fans but not for any owner.
And might happen with ETH, too. Because I’m not trying to argue ETH is guaranteed to succeed if we do back him. But if we don’t, he is guaranteed to fail.

With good players he would probably do well. But with player's as bad as these it's an absolute disaster. You have to take the pain though. Don't adapt for them, weed them out.

He's a joke. Get him out now.

Arrogant feckers who refused talk to Ralf.
£55M on Martinez
All summer looking for Dutch/Eredivise players

and the last thing, trying to sign Marko fecking Arnautovic.

He bought in Martinez and Malacia. Two players who will never cut it in the PL. 70m down the drain.

Has come across as a bit naive these first two games. Plenty of time to turn it around and learn from this though. So far Martinez's height has been targetted. Our passing out from the back has been exposed and Eriksen as the deepest midfielder has also been exposed.

He will have to learn from this the hardway but confident he will get us back on track eventually.

Yep, there's confidence and there's arrogance, looking like the latter at the moment. At least De Boer will lose his record

Our squad has done this many times before we were asked to play it out from the back pre Ten Hag
Unless the reasoning is Ten Hag shouldn’t be asking Utd players to implement a style that 90 percent of EPL sides do on a regular basis?

Going from Fred to Eriksen as his fecking connector is so stupid, does he have any idea what type his players are?

One hell of a job ahead of him. I think this group of players is just demoralised and folds at the slightest provocation, and he's asking them to play out of their comfort zone. Really not sure what the path out of this is, other than to say that there are surely no quick fixes.

Have total faith in him. But he's not a DoF and we shouldn't be asking him to assemble a team. And we massively overspent on Martinez.

No matter how shit the players are, this is a massive failure by the manager as well. It's his job to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of the team and set them up to give us the best chance to win. Trying to establish a possession style with these lot is extremely delusional.
He's underestimated the league. When you're Ajax and a lot better than the opposition you can do experiments like playing Eriksen as a 6 when he isn't that kind of player. Players are simply going to target a short CB like Martinez all season long. He needs to go to 5 at the back going forward I think.

Fair to say that players have been shit too.

But surely you realise money coming into the club isn't an infinite supply. Anything we spend now has long term implications on the clubs spending power going forward? Are you happy for us to back Ten Hag and then not back the next guy?

Every single top team plays from the back. Rather we stick to it and lose and make it clear as day for whoever in the club is choosing to ignore our shit ass players, that we can’t do things all other top clubs do - and maybe, just maybe, make them realise our problem isn’t always just the manager.

It’s not as simple as that. DDG has no excuse this time.

He didnt ignore it. In fact it was his no1 priority
Was his first priority we would have had 2 in already before the season started not spent an entire summer going after a lad who doesn't want to come here. That 50m spent on Martinez could have gone towards a CM mate come on now. He signed Malacia and keeps playing Shaw and on top of it the clown went to the board and told them he wants Arnautovic. I'm sick of what I have seen from him so far as I thought he would be the right fit.

Pochettino would be eaten alive by this squad
I and just about everyone else wanted EtH but I said at the time I think Poch is a manager that gets the most out of a team and is more pragmatic. If we weren’t going to immediately go about changing the squad then we just might have well picked him.

I talked about that above. If he want to play with such midfield combo, he shouldn't play with two slow as feck defenders behind them, one of them is even midget. Ridiculous tactical setup.

Play with 3-4-3 and put on Varane alongside the other 2 for extra protection.
Constantly injured Varane who is on his own individual training program? What does he do to prevent the De Gea mistake or the Eriksen one? Fair enough the corner but nothing else.

For the four in midfield in your example who do you play there to solve the constant lost balls and zero creativity?

For all the Frank de Boer jokes, he does make the same basic mistake alot of Dutch coaches make. Wanting to implement the Dutch, build up starts at the keeper style without willing to compromise to adapt to the material you have. De Boer did it with Palace and Ten Hag is doing it here. Maguire isnt nearly as bad as he's made out to be, but his build up skills arent exactly stellar.

It's okay to hoof it from time to time Erik. Adapt or die.

Also, I fecking told you Martinez is not good enough to make up for the fact he's a midget.
