Lucky lad

Mediocre as feck since he joined, runs around all summer like he’s a fecking rap star then turns up again and stinks the place out. Absolute flop that seems to get little criticism.

He is just not good at anything. He doesn’t contribute one defense, has zero creativity, cannot go past anyone, has no pace, no shot, nothing. Honestly I struggle to name a PL winger who would be this poor at literally everything.

Either he’s massively short of confidence or just not that talented. I’d still loan him out to another PL team with less pressure and see how he does there.

This guy has been trash since he walked through the door. How long before we actually start questioning him? Oh, it's just the system doesn't suit him. Oh, he just needs time. He's a £70m player! For crying out loud, do something! Anything! This kid hides and we have too many players that hide.

More managers (4) than PL goals (3). It's time for a conversation about him.

I have to agree with the critics, he has been bad.

Jog to edge of box, try 3 yard slide rule pass. Repeat.
Another Bundesliga fraud

Also simply not good enough. Some butt wiggling at the edge of the box is simply not good enough.

It was obvious we weren’t a good fit for him from the start, but his inability to recognise the mismatch between his natural / preferred style and the actual players he’s working with is shameful

City already squeezed as much as they could from Sterling these last years, not like they were missing on something by selling him. They got what they wanted from him and sold him when good money come. Great business. Different from letting Sancho go from the academy then not fussed about wanting to sign him back.
Every situation is different, just saying that a player leaving city doesn't mean we should avoid them.

They know when the player isn't worth the value asked for him. They know Sanchez and Maguire weren't worth the price tag for them. They weren't willing to spend such sum of money on them. They were right. What you're talking about is different.

I was hopeful of him improving before the season started given he looked good in preseason. How long are we willing to give him time? He has done absolutely nothing in these 2 games.

Watching the Barca game everytime Dembele gets the ball he has been trying to take on his fullback and create something. Every time Sancho has the ball he's done feck all with it. I'm quickly losing my patience with him. The three musketeers(Bruno, Sancho and Rashford) have been god awful for close to an year now.

Play him on the left or don't bother.
He played left loads last season and got like 3 goals and 4 assists.

He's just not that good. The Bundesliga is utter shite. Werner is back there and scoring straight away.

Not sure why we're insisting with a poor Rashford on the left and putting this guy on the right

Continues to disappoint and it's so frustrating. We know most of these players are utter shite, but I had high expectations for this guy. Still, I can't put all the blame on him. He's walking into a fecking clown show here. I mean, can anyone truly stand out? When the whole structure is a mess, sometimes it's really difficult to perform to a high standard. It's definitely more on us as a club that he failing (so far) than it is on him.

I don't understand why/how this kid was on the verge of being a superstar two years ago and joined United and is just so fecking average now. I hate it.
To be fair to the boy. Instead of signing more players, maybe building a team around him, he has been utilised almost as a backup to Rashford. Surrounded with stationary players who has poor understanding of each other. If we had Sancho on the right instead of James the year that Bruno, Rashford, Martial was on fire, we could have won the league. That whole setup is different now, we have no pace, no partners for him, nobody on the same wavelength nobody to play with.

That goal Werner goal shouldn't have been scored. The keeper was worse than DDG today.

Saying that Sancho hasn't lit the place up at all.
Another flop

He was my biggest disappointment today, because I genuinely thought coming off pre season, he'd be an important player this season.

He's got a history with City and Dortmund of being a pain in the arse, is it any surprise he's turned out to be a complete dud.

Another example of the Glazers spending money badly rather than running the club properly.

My concern with buying Sancho was his lack of outright pace and ability to beat a man. Those fears have been realised + he just isn't an athlete which is a BIG worry.

I thought we'd play much better as a team this year which would see him improve with the help of a right back but I'm unsure now.

Still just about getting away with it due to the utter non functioning team around him, plus zero other options on the right.
But for the price he should be a league star player. At the moment it's worrying he's not even a star in the team.

I said it very early on last season...

We have signed a dud.

I still believe we have signed a dud.

He offers NOTHING.

He’s a waste man, another over hyped bundesliga product, has little to no work ethic going forward can’t beat a man never puts in crosses, Southampton is his level.

I'm a big fan and think he's incredibly talented but I can't think of a softer player in the league.

Not quick, extremely weak, not particularly agile and to make it worse plays with little intensity. I seriously worry if he can ever be a top player in this league, he lacks the necessary physical attributes.

I want it to happen for Jadon. I really do. However, this looks like it's going the way of Kagawa and Mhkitarayan.

Same has happened to all big name players we sign. We’re a graveyard for talent right now.

Wouldn't say he's getting away with it at all. He's been every bit bad as others but people have agendas.

Rashford didn't cost us 74million quid either. People forget that.

I wanted us to sign him. Like really bad as well. But you have to say, when we had such a free way at getting him with no competition it was a bad sign.

Fourth goal was his fault, he gave up on challenging for the ball in their area and the break happened.

For me he's been absolutely shocking since he's arrived, the short period people claimed he hit form last season he was bang average and for me it seems every defender in the league has figured out he has no pace.

Another shocking buy.

There were plenty who said he was a system player and wasn't going to bring individual brilliance. We see that in England as well, an isolated figure. Our team now is at an even lower ebb.

For Sancho to work in a physical league it will need much more skill and movement and to kill teams off with passing like City do. You just have to watch the teams against us and then City. He will come good if we can build up a passing system dragging these physical players all over the pitch instead of just running into them and getting barged to the floor and looking for a foul. Going to take a long time for the manager and club to transition.

He also did have bad spells at Dortmund, it wasn't all fantastic. He was subbed at half time there and shown they won't tolerate rubbish.

It's because he has talent but have been mismanaged. You cannot be your best surrounded by dross.
He's one of the dross.

He's shown absolutely nothing to be absolved of being grouped with the other dross in the team.

He's the worst of the Dortmund flops too. Kagawa > Mkhitaryan > Sancho
