So nothing that literally everyone could’ve told them months ago but they’ve still chosen to piss about and waste a transfer window yet again neglecting a squad in dire need of improvement. Shambles!
He writes for the Daily Mail ffs.

In business transactions, all quotations and offers have a validity period which is normally 30 to 60 days and beyond. Not sure what is the validity period that the club agreed upon.
so we didn't think of renewing it... more excellent work from the undynamic duo

What’s the point in renewing it when it’s clear that he won’t join us till the deferred wages issue has been taken care of. Which imo isn’t going to happen this window.

Can't get on with the school of thought to leave it until deadline day.. surely Barca need him off the wages in order to bring Bernardo in, and thus leaving City short as well, it makes no sense whatsoever for anyone.

If it is to happen then it needs to happen this week in my opinion. I think he stays put now.

Said from day one since we were linked with him that a Silva/FDJ swap was most likely to happen

Jeez Van Basten had really aged badly. What a player he was though. He was in my opinion the best striker in the past 40 years

I'm a bit lost here, what does it all mean? Why has our bid expired? When do we have to submit a new one? Can we renegotiate the price? Is this a common practice with long-standing bids in football transfers?

He isn't going to join us. He doesn't want to join Manchester United. I don't think, even if we were in a healthy league position, he would want to.

He is a useful player for Barcelona to keep hold of so I can't see why they would want to sell. If they didn't think they could register the players they have signed without FDJ leaving he would already have gone.

They may want Silva but, unless they have a replacement lined up why would City allow Silva to go to Barca and subsequently strengthen their neighbours?

We will keep our interest firmly known in case FDJ wants to leave in January if he failed to get game time but he won't join us now. We need to move on.

Sky reporting Utd have withdrawn their offer completely to player and Barcelona but still want to sign him.
Try that in football and you’re a genius. Do it in Tesco and you’re just some twat walking home without frozen peas.

The most embarrassing thread in Caf history, full of delusion, blind optimism, 5% facts and 95% speculation, culminating in 1600 pages of regurgitated crap and zero evidence that the fecker is joining United any time soon.

But he clearly hasn’t been speaking to the Barcelona fans on here because they would have told him he was wrong and that everyone is envious of them.
