Nah, Laporta will convince him to go back to Barca; unless Xavi is already their manager at that point.

It was a terrible summer for City. They overspent on Grealish by 25-30M, kept an absolute scumbag in the team for months and months (funny how articles about City recruitment always mention how they check player's character), fed papers for years that if Messi ever leaves Barca he will choose City but in the end he didn't think twice about joining PSG, lost one of their greatest ever players and couldn't replace him, had to re-sign 37 years old Fernandinho, lost Community Shield, their main competition both in PL and CL significantly improved. One of their main problems is they didn't grow as a club at all in last at least 3-4 years. And this is just my feeling but for several reasons I think Sheikh Mansour's probably losing interest or at least doesn't care as much as he did before.

He came out and said he didn't mean hwe was leaving in 2023. he said he could stay for 5 seven years and it all depends on the situation. Hope he leaves mid way through this season.
My take is they wanted to sign Cristiano, he didn't agree, they carried on anyway (brand, SM followers, yadda yadda) and now they will be left Cristiano-less and soon Pep-less.

I suspect the sheikh has gotten bored tbh. This might be it.
I agree. I mean I don't think City will fall apart now or something but it's been quite visible for some time that something's happening there. I think over last four summers their average net spend is €50-60m which is still quite a lot but not as much as social media would make you think.

Pep not leaving City in 2023 is not a surprise.. He will stay there until he wins the CL one or more times so in my point of view he will be there till 2026 at least making his stay there 10 years.;)

Back to Barca? PSG? Maybe a national team?

Winning an international tournament would do well to shut a lot of his doubters (like me) up.

Needs to stay until either Klopp leaves, or we get good again.
Until Klopp leaves it is then!

I fecking called this during the summer when everybody just nodded along to reports saying they were waiting until the WC as if it was a normal occurrence.
They were pushing it back to keep the story from it being Peps last season since we know how that turned out for SAF. Now Peo ducked that up

There have been a lot of rumors of him coaching the Brazilian national team at some point.

Cue the Sheikh giving him another £10m on top of current salary.

City will do everything in their power to keep him and sadly as money is no object to them they will probably find a compromise.

Pep wants the Brazil NT job, always been his dream job. So when he leaves and City go to shit, how long before he can be the next Man Utd manager?

If he goes it'll be to PSG. Has to be somewhere he will be given a huge chequebook and be guaranteed to win.

He'll go nowhere remotely challenging.
Rumor has it he's going to manage Leyton Orient and San Marino national team simultaneously to prove internet begrudgers wrong.

Can see him going after so long there. The draw of a World Cup trophy is next probably. He can set his team up in the coming years after a break and be primed for the next tournament

Hopefully we can improve a lot soon to stop Klopp

If he leaves it'll be for international football. I think Brazil if they wait for him to finish out the season after the world cup.

Laughable, isn't it?
Meanwhile, he'll console himself with 10 league titles in the European top leagues, and having the second most EPL titles after Sir Alex.

Chances are, he'll win another this year to make it 3 consecutive and 5 in 6 years.

Must be joking!

No way Pep builds a world class team just for some other manager to stroll in and reap the benefit.

Haaland and Co have nothing to worry about.
