Oh no professional athletes making demands of each other.
It happens at amateur level as well. If my teammates consistently make the same poor decision I'll let them know, and they'll let me know too if it's the other way around. We're all still friends afterwards anyway.

just click that link. Don't need to scroll down the article. Then go "print" to .pdf. I use Chrome.
Thanks, seems to work for The Athletic but tried it on others like NYT and didn't work or did I just do it wrong?

A nice interview for a change but I really really like to see the club imposing a media ban on our players if it's legal to do so.

I need to watch the interview maybe, but he comes across as a bit of a whiner with this comment, doesn’t he? You play for Man Utd, mate, you’re going to get scrutinized to feck. I remember last season he referred to how people keep judging him for his goals+assists stats only.

It’a nice that the few extreme Pogba fans don’t rock up into any positive thread about Bruno taking shots at him anymore. He looks much happier this season. Hopefully he can get back to his very best.
 Yep, it really is bizarre it is always the same few Pogba fans.

Bruno is hated so much by opposition fans, and Pogba fans. That's doing alright in my book.

Yeah the quote is a bit out of context...he's basically saying rather than people making excuses and saying he still needs to adapt, they're picking up on his bad points, so he knew he had adapted really quickly which was really good for him. The way they've quoted it is likes he's making excuses for himself.

Yes, I support this. Why is all of our laundry, dirty or not, coming out into the media every few weeks? We have only won 4 league games in a row, not the league. This is Manchester United (thanks Gary). Winning 4 games in a row should happen multiple times a season.

I remember some rival ex-player saying in an interview that United players under Fergie were tight-lipped about what was going on at the club even when they joined with the England national team. The United players considered themselves as separate and everything about United was sacrosanct.

Also, why would Bruno want to reveal to opposition players and teams that he marks the referee? They'll be keeping an eye on him now. These stories should ideally be said in retirement.

It's also, I don't know, an extremely weird example? I struggle to think of any Premier League player in the last few years more ridiculed than Nicolas Pepe. He's literally a punchline, while Fernandes is considered one of United's best players.

on desktop? For NYT, you can refresh the page with that reload arrow button on upper left corner. While that reload button is still on "X" position, quickly press that button again to stop fully reload. You'll be able to read full article.

see if it works: NYT

You're acting like teams wouldn't already have noticed this?

He speaks very well. Really surprised (pleasantly) to hear Tom Heaton is considered a big player in the dressing room

Awesome interview. Bruno is a leader. Give him the armband permanently.

He is a massive moaner - but why do fans give a shit? Rooney loved a moan, so has Ronaldo throughout his career.

None of us know the type of relationship these guys have off the pitch. He might be doing the same in training for all you know & if it's a problem he would've been pulled up by the players and the manager on it.

It's a high pressure/intensity job - you've got to somehow stay in the moment. Some people like to be vocal to stay focused or intense, and others like Martial are generally more quiet. Either is fine.
Pretty much. Teams have all sorts of personalities and would argue that you need a bit of everything, it's not a bad thing to have someone that is a bit more expressive than others.

Was a very well delivered interview, seems like a genuinely nice guy. Always has done, family man, good personality.
