So you want to say that Ralf was on better contract than Ole?
No, I am saying that nothing I have seen reported from when Ole was let go says he was paid anywhere near 20 million pounds compensation. This is including articles that were based on our publicly released accounts.

What, 33m in dividends?
their asset is losing value and they have to come up with a lot to fix the stadium, I don’t think the dividends outweighs the loss in value, it would be smarter for them to sell than continue to run the business to the ground.

To be fair the "club's" core mission is exactly that. The owners though, they couldnt give a toss as long as they are picking up 20m-30m a year.
If the owners' core mission is their dividend then that is the club's core mission by definition, no?

The club’s core mission is to siphon as much money as possible into the owners pockets as often as possible and a subsidiary mission is to bullshit the fans at every possible moment, that the core mission is something which might be good for the club and fans

We've been on the decline since 2018, current value is not far off what it was in 2012. The main thing for the Glazers is that they can continue to extract dividends, and that train doesn't look like it's stopping any time soon.

I still don't understand logic of Glazers. We all know that they are here for the money. They get 30 mil per year. Meanwhile they can get 3-4 billion from sale and invest in other project

Surely we didn't spend more sacking Rangnick than Solskjaer.
Shocking figures of how not to run a club. Worrying for where we're heading.

The actual businessman of the family has been dead for a decade. What’s left is kids that inherited assets and don’t know what to do with them.

Looks like they didn't want to spend much this summer but ended up panicking and spending on the likes of Antony and Casemiro.

Debt up by £94m but these lot decide it’s a good time to take even more out in dividends. Get these fecking parasites out of the club!!
No it’s net debt up by 94m … it’s probably due to cash falling by a large amount.
Of course I agree you should get rid of them.

I to still don't get it. They could pocket billions in a short space of time. 4b divided by 30m is 133 years. Rough figures obviously but unless I'm missing something it is a bit confusing

the logic has always been to sell it for as much as possible right?

before they had dreams of selling after securing a super league deal, now hopefully they’ve given up on that and will take a lower amount

the Chelsea sale probably has turned their heads, to be honest ( maybe just wishful thinking )

I have a feeling(not based on anything concrete) that the Glazers made their last gamble with pumping money and trying to help TH to qualify for the top 4 and eventually CL football in order to bump up the club's price for a potential buyer next summer.

how could that even be possible? solskjaer had a long term deal and rangnick was just a stand in.

that doesn’t make sense at all unless they promised to pay him for the next 2 years on full pay as a consultant?

Because if we don't get CL football and get wiped out of Europa early this season, then we're going to be running at losses for the next few years.

As logic that all makes sense. Here's hoping for a sale soon.

There is 6 leeches and only 1 maybe 2 want to definitely keep the club, thats why there are dividends every 6 months to appease them. Now any buyer should be telling the virtues of selling up, to the 4/5 that have no or little interest in the club. If you can get between £666 million to £1 billion payout apiece, I cant see what the hold up is. Even if half was tax you still would have loads more than £10 mill a year dividend apiece.
To the 4/5 leeches, what is the holdup in selling?

It's incredibly easy to understand, you're looking at this backwards, the goal isn't to just get 4billion in which your correct would take all the years, why do you need 4bil, what are you gonna buy a giga yacht the size of the moon?

The club is worth around 4x times what they "paid" for it in 2003, so it's not how long the club would take to pay you the full value of what it's worth currently in another 20 years it might be worth twice as much again, then sell it. Also their dad technically only spent 190m, they are 20m to the good every year but they can sell at any point for multiples of what the original purchase price.

To put it into perspective, Newcastle sold for 305m, a club that has yo-yo'd with relegation for the last decade, even it United utterly imploded in the next few decades, they would sell and walk away with double "their" money + whatever they took out in the interim.

Ffs

When you say it like that (a single Glazer leech will basically earn almost a billion for literally doing nothing except not caring for the club and running it into the ground) it becomes even more infuriating.

how the feck is that wage bill considered even remotely healthy or acceptable for a team that finished 6th?
You do realise that we have now reduced the wage bill? And it will reduce again when Ronaldo leaves.

This figure will be with Pogba, Cavani, Mata, Lingard, Matic etc etc

If you had bothered to listen to the investor call, our CFO cliff Baty says that even with the 25% reduction in the wage bill for lack of champions league, our wage bill will only be going down in the teens of millions next season. Extrapolate out that if we got back into the CL, our wage will for the following season would be even higher than this seasons. Which is utter madness.

So despite losing Matic, Pogba, Lingard, Cavani and Mata permanently and the likes of Henderson, Bailly and Telles on loan (along side the full squad seeing their wages reduced by 25%) little has moved?

That doesn’t smell right to me. None of the new signings, bar Casemiro, are picking up comparable wages to the aforementioned players.

I fully expect the wage bill to reduce this season and then reduce again with the departure of Ronaldo. There’s also little left on the contract of DDG.

Don’t think it’s as much of a drama as being made out and things have already happened, and are continuing to happen, to reduce it.

United have paid more in interest payments than Arsenal and Tottenham combined who built world-class stadiums in the same period.
I am very close to wishing bodily harm on the leeches.
