That in mind, he did wait until 33 years of age to become Choupo-Goating; nonetheless, I suppose he does fit our profile of early/mid 30's centre-forwards.

Id rather get Cavani back or resign Ronaldo. Don't think there's any truth in this, as I'd hope we're looking at somebody who can be with us for years, not another stop gap. Also he's in the form of his life.

Out of contract in the summer.

For a free, allowing us to spend big on other positions. I can see it.

Be careful what you wish for. Force Ronnie out and we'll be desperate enough to bring anyone in.

Topsy turvy career this guy has had ey.
Tuchel made him... gave him his debut in Mainz and then made him a squad player at PSG, a role which he continues at Bayern. And in that role (experienced quality striker who accepts being a backup) he could be a valuable signing I think.

Apparently he's never been sold for a fee! Only ever moved as a free agent. Weird.

Nagelsmann impact?
More like Nagelsmann accepting that his 4-2-4 (or 4-2-3-1 with Mane as a striker) has been a failure. He reverted back to a classic 4-2-3-1 with a true 9 and fields the only player in the squad who can play that role: EMCM. Since then he scores at an absolute world class level, but it's not because of some Nagelsmann impact, but more of a failure to replace Lewandowski appropriately.

Would take him for a year or two to replace a washed out Ronaldo. He's also more likely content to be benched

I still can't get around how crass that tweet is. What has Choupo-Moting done to be reduced as a Stoke flop? By all account he is a very professional and nice teammates who has done his job to a good standard at PSG and Bayern.

Whoever wrote that title should be referred to as a professional cnut whenever their name is used.

Disrespectful to call him a clown. He’s in excellent form but he isn’t going anywhere.
Even if he was, isn't he 33 already? He would work quite well for us, I think, but surely we should get over signing 30+ strikers as short term solutions at some point
