Sporting on loan and we pay half his wages?
No thanks. Send a message even if it costs us. He can play golf or drop his own salary requirements.Sporting on loan and we pay half his wages?
The Portuguese big 3 should be his aim but as you say his ego would never let it happen. The only way he leaves is if he accepts less money somewhere else. Not sure his ego will allow that.
He's going to find himself in a very confused situation that's for sure.
I wouldn't be surprised if he's stuck here stinking the place out until the summer.
Haaland never scored 30 league goals for Dortmund. I doubt this version of Ronaldo could do it, or get anywhere close. There is an argument that Dortmund could take him.
They could have him for a season scoring about thirty goals in the league and then sell him for a profit.
Not for me. Sell him to whoever wants him. They can deal with the wages.Sporting on loan and we pay half his wages?
For me either, but no one is going to buy him, which is the issue. Not for me. Sell him to whoever wants him. They can deal with the wages.
Think I’d rather the club have 6 million extra towards a striker that will actually contribute to the team then be petty. No thanks. Send a message even if it costs us. He can play golf or drop his own salary requirements.
In fact I'd ask for a transfer fee just to spite him.
That's a pretty stupid comparison. Clubs are not falling over themselves to sign Pele either. Ronaldo is over two years older than Messi, and two years ago all the top clubs would have taken Ronaldo. Unfortunately, time catches up with everyone, and Ronaldo clearly can't cut it at the top level. He should either retire or go to MLS or Saudi, as he will just embarrass himself further in a top European club. Personally, I wouldn't take a 35 year old Messi either, as we all know where that is headed...So we basically have Napoli, MLS and Qatar/Saudi as the options right now. Imagine the clubs falling over themselves to sign Messi if he was available.
He scored over 20 in the Premier League last year and he is a superb penalty taker so it is not impossibleHaaland never scored 30 league goals for Dortmund. I doubt this version of Ronaldo could do it, or get anywhere close.
He scored 18 in the league last season. He scored over 20 in the Premier League last year and he is a superb penalty taker so it is not impossible
Sorry....I knew he scored about 20, that must have been over all comps. He scored 18 in the league last season.
Not the sun. Too much glory. Put him orbiting the moon for eternityBuy a rocket and some strong bungee cords. Strap him to said rocket and fire him directly into the sun. Job done.
Not sure about that. Not many clubs would feel confident signing a contract for an ageing player with a massive ego for £500k+ per week. Ok current Ronaldo is clearly more toxic / less good at football than current Messi but it's still a massive gamble that the twat:good at football ratio doesn't change for Messi as well.So we basically have Napoli, MLS and Qatar/Saudi as the options right now. Imagine the clubs falling over themselves to sign Messi if he was available.
