Will be interesting to see how they go about this, whilst Russia are under sanctions there's surely no chance that Chelsea will be able to pay a transfer fee?
Yeah I'm not sure how all of that will work. I guess it could be possible for Russian clubs to receive transfer fees, if the incoming money is also sanctioned and unusable by the club? I don't know though but Chelsea have continued to pursue Zakharyan since last summer.

It has been arranged that he will become a citizen of Armenia in December. His sale will be handled by an Armenian bank. He will still have dual citizenship and play for the Russian team.

Right. So they'll still be paying a transfer fee by evading the sanctions.

That doesn't look good and I think it's most likely his visa application will be refused.

Only persons and companies in Russia particularly singled out, named and listed in EU/US/UK legislation are sanctioned. It’s perfectly legal to do business with everyone else in Russia.

Dynamo Moscow is not sanctioned.

However, most if not all Russian banks are sanctioned. Hence, it is very hard to make payments to Russia, including Dynamo Moscow. There are different way to solve this. Move the money to a place which can make payment to Russia is the most common one. There are legit payments that must be made to Russia, and this is a problem in those cases.

This would be a silly move for him as Chelsea already has one of the best RB in the league. I don't see DD displacing him.
I don't even rate him. He's an okay player, at best. I'm pretty certain we can find his profile of player in the academy or for cheap in the market. If you asked me what I'd prefer promoting Dujon Sterling or spending £60m on Dumfries, it's an easy choice.

Tier 1:
The big sensation: Sofyan Amrabat
  • Fiorentina are asking for 30-35M fixed [add-ons should take this to €40m].
  • Tottenham tried in the summer.
  • Liverpool officials are following him closely during the World Cup.
  • In principle, Fiorentina do not want to sell him in January.
  • The base fee will unlikely drop below €30m.
  • Sofyan's brother revealed that the player can be offered to PSG, but this unlikely for now.

Ornstein on Moukoko to Chelsea

Chelsea are exploring the possibility of bringing Youssoufa Moukoko to Stamford Bridge.

Moukoko became the youngest player to represent Germany at a World Cup when he came on as a substitute in the 2-1 defeat by Japan in their opening group game, aged 18 years and three days.

A move to Chelsea is certainly not done but other Premier League clubs are under the impression it is advanced and are watching closely, given it may have implications for the availability of Armando Broja, who was taken off the field on a stretcher during a friendly against Aston Villa in Dubai on Sunday.

Moukoko is set to be out of contract at Dortmund at the end of this season and there is a school of thought that Chelsea are doing the groundwork for a summer deal ahead of time, but may find a way to bring him to west London next month.

What's he say about all the other players?
No idea, I skipped right past almost all of them

I did notice that Arsenal are interested in Mudryk and in touch with Shakhtar and his agents.

Transfer market: Bellingham

"Liverpool have accelerated like crazy, have had contacts with the player's parents".

"The parents want him to return to England"

Bellingham complicates things for Real Madrid: Liverpool close in and parents want to return to England

Alexander Arnold and Henderson have recommended the player for Qatar 2022 to play at Anfield.
