Didn't think it could possibly end this way after he rejoined us, but after both his performance and behaviour I'm just relieved.

Hopefully some of you in here can move on as well.
Some good advice here. I know for sure it’s one of my biggest flaws. I can’t let things go. Not just on about football, other things as well. It’s something I need to learn to do. Anyway good riddance to him. No doubt he’ll be selling his stories to the highest bidder about how badly treated he was so I’m sure we’ll be hearing United getting slated by him a lot more.

Only option. Shame it all ended like this.

If we could have just got rid in the summer it would have been a good return even without trophies last season.

Let's hope we get a good replacement

Picture this scenario …..

If ronaldo has an amazing World Cup, top goal scorer, wins the World Cup , states his love for United and he want to come back

Would you forgive ?

Ronaldo is a human being just like us. All Humans make mistakes and we shouldn’t be so quick to judge / react negatively. With time we maybe all reflect different on this…….
Even if all that happens and he scores 15 goals in the World Cup, I’d never want him back.

If we've come to an agreement on a pay-off that's fine.

Obviously we'd have preferred that Ronaldo get nothing at all but there's no point cutting off our nose to spite our face by opting to go down a route that potentially risked an unpleasant legal battle. Paying up entirely would be terribly wrong but there is value in getting the poison out of the club as quickly and painlessly as possible via settlement and moving on.

He could have first mutually terminate the contract and then gave that interview. Anyway. Move on.

Their are two options that would be amazing.

Bayern on a free is for sure an option, they probably become CL favorites

OR

RETURN TO SPORTING <3
He was the worst player on the pitch in the 2 EL games vs Omonoia. He’s not making the difference for Bayern in the latter stages of the CL

Not that they’d want him anyway.

Chelsea I guess

I just wish we suspended him for 6 months
They probably made him sign something where he can't join any premier league rivals. Makes no sense to let him leave if he can join teams we're competing against.

Pressure is really on him to deliver in this tournament. He's playing for his career (in terms of staying in the CL) with the world spotlight on him.

For a narcissist, this is the greatest opportunity, or a complete and utter way to crash and burn.

Happy this is over! great for the Club, if in his interview he didn't mention Ten Hag and the respect issues, he would have left as a true legend of the club, but to throw fire while we try to rebuild is just a shame.

I won't celebrate it as regardless of his poor seasona and attitude in the past 6 months or so, he remains a legend in mine and I would assume most United fans eyes.

Those who are angry, and that's probably most of us will come to forget in time and remember the many great memories and moments he gave the club. For a brief period United were the best side on the planet with the world's best player.

On a more petty note and because all this is to fresh, I hope he has an awful world cup and can't find a club.
 I did not see that last sentence coming.

Brilliant result, get away from having to pay him. Now he can play UCL on the cheap for anyone he wants, and we're free of the drama.

Way to ruin your legacy, idiot.

Good for both parties. Shame it had to end this way but you cannot act that way and suffer no consequences. Ten Hag will be very happy too.

Ronaldo isn't going to come play the Europa league. We are 5th or 6th in the league so forget about winning the league as well. It would probably mean doing a financial effort that could have impact in the long run. Not a fan of a media circus like United one
Ya this season won’t win anything but who cares. What he would do for the league and club is astronomical. He would not earn what he’s earning now either. It would be a beautiful end to a brilliant career

Now just force his lunatic set of fans (esp the one with the cp96 in his username) to post in one thread only, that'll be dedicated to foaming over his shitty geriatric displays.

Good riddance.

Dont write him off so easily

Was good last season, out scoring a host of quality strikers in the PL. He’s been unsettled and wanted to leave in the summer, it’s no real surprise that he’s not been at it for us this year.

Im putting money on Ronaldo doing well in a side that creates chances

Happy. He's finished at top level but his ego couldn't handle it

We move, please get in a striker that'll truly make us forget this absolute disaster
