On what planet did he do better than Zlatan who actually won us trophies man?
Zlatan was absolutely miles better, and I thought Ronaldo did well last season. Scored better goals, more important goals, of his 28 goals in 2016-17 only 3 were pens & he won us trophies.
Honestly, it's not even close.

If Ibra doesn't tear his ACL, we don't buy Lukaku and maybe we win another trophy the following season.

He was very good for us.

F**k me, so many haters on a club Legend and the G.O.A.T
Some of you need to grow up, yes he shouldn’t have done the interview but vast majority of what he said was true and we all know that.

Anyway best wishes to him on his next venture and let’s see ETH does for rest of the season, can’t play the Ronaldo card no more!
He should'nt have done the interview exposing the club and undermining the manager while still an active player. That's pretty much the bottom line. Its not that hard to understand why fans will be upset. Maybe it's his fanboys that need to grow up if he is allowed to say whatever he pleases. Maybe the rest of our players should also run around revealing "truths" to the media in mid season.

Despite the fact that he's been terrible this season and we're clearly better off without him in the team, or even the squad, I expect there'll be in an going narrative from the pundits that any chances we miss would of course have been put away by Ronaldo.

I wonder if he will sign for PSG for the remainder of the season after the WC

Kind of sad that there are teams actively/preemptively denying they will consider signing Ronaldo.

I mean thats the state of things now for him.

Would Ronaldo be the first player at a world cup without a club I wonder.

What did he say? He’s generally been hanging out of the back of him during this saga
Still was to an extent. That as he is world class he should have been pandered to. The fact he isn't world class any longer didn't come into it. Well he is now with a Portugal side that does pander to him, so it is up to him to deliver for them.

Saying it’s the best for both parties and so on, Ronaldo was never going on the bench and United should have let him go in the summer.

Did United prevent him from leaving this summer?

It was very much the same as his inane reasoning given whilst arguing with Neville on Sky Sports.

But Ian Wright didn’t get quite as confrontational as Neville. Although Wright did still look perplexed by some of Keane’s comments and said United are a better team when Ronaldo isn’t in it. Which Keane didn’t like one bit.

Yeah. They weren’t actively looking buyers up until a week before deadline day or something.
Agents are the ones actively looking for buyers not clubs but even if it was the case, it doesn't constitute as preventing someone from leaving.

Editing my own posts.

They obviously didn’t want him leaving that was abundantly clear this season.
 how is that Man Utd’s problem!? Are we supposed to actively find him a suitable club!? Who did we refuse to sell him to?

Naw I don’t I am saying what Roy Keane said.
Come on, these are your words to my question. Just answer instead of putting it on Keane, who you said was talking sense.

EtH must be relieved. He can actually answer football related questions now.
Looking forward to our team without that narcissistic distraction.

Keane's obsession with Ronaldo is so strange. He loses any sense when talking about him.

That is the key part. Are we sure we did not want him anymore. And if we did not, we could have done this cancelling of contract earlier as it is obvious from the Ronaldo interview that he wants to leave the club. He could have just asked the club to do it.
I don't think just being released was ever an option for Ronaldo. A club that is crying out for quality players and can afford him just lets him go mid-season, outside of a transfer window, just like that? It would send the signal that he's done, and his ego would never be able to handle it. With this, he can spin it as being sacked for telling the truth about how bad and disrespectful United and ten Hag are, and his deluded fanbois will lap it up.
