Who will go down this season?

Everton, WHU and Southampton are all on 15 points after playing 19 games.

Leicester have lost the last 4 games and are still at #14, teams like Leeds and Bournemouth aren't doing much better.

You could argue there are about 8 or 9 teams who could get relegated this season.

Almost half way through and none of the newly promoted sides in the bottom 3, has that happened before?

Still feel Forest and Bournemouth will go in the end

There are a lot of teams who are poor this year and it's going to be about fine margins. Wolves and Southampton did what we and West Ham need to do and change the manager. Both of the former teams have got a reaction from their new gaffer while us and West Ham seem resigned to losing every week.

There isn't much between the teams in the bottom half of the table and subtle changes will be the difference between staying up and going down.

Disgraceful that a club like Everton, with their history and money (admittedly they've spent it wrong) are in the mix.

Bournemouth and Everton are for sure's for me, and then 50/50 between Southampton and Forest. Forest just look really bad a lot of times where I think they'll drop off but we'll see. Southampton and Everton look garbage too though, so those 3 wouldn't surprise me.

West Ham and Wolves will be fine come the end IMO

Everton, West Ham, Leicester, Leeds. Lots of big clubs that could conceivably go down.

I think Bournemouth are down, as are Everton depending on what they do with their manager. Southampton have looked much improved recently, so I could still see them staying up.

People are saying Forrest but they’ve been picking up points and are 5 clear of the relegation zone

Forest are starting to play as a team and Cooper is one of the most backed managers in the league, I think they will stay up.

Leeds will stay up, they create enough opportunities which helped them last year. Wolves are getting some new players in, Leicester are struggling but do have goals in them and can go on a run just like before the WC. I'd say Southampton, Bournemouth + 1 among Everton and Forest

It will be interesting cause they are starting to gel a bit but they look like they are low on quality for all the signings.

if Leeds get relegated I don't care. I will celebrate it like a trophy.

I think leicester are goners this season. They've got noone who will get them goals.

Think saints will be ok they are spending in Jan. Everton will be around until the final stages

Wouldnt have expected West Ham or Everton to be down there at this stage but still cant see them going down either sadly.

I think Bournemouth, Forest and maybe Palace. There is always one team that falls like a stone.

West Ham and Everton always seem to have those end of season bursts where they have enough to survive.

It really does depend on the fixtures and if you play teams who have something to play for in May.

Their defence is much improved (since they started playing Wily Boly anyway).

In last 11 prem games they've only conceded 13 goals and 5 of them were at Arsenal so it's a much more conservative style than what they were attempting start of the season.

I feel like there are probably 5 or 6 club forums currently where they are all arguing they're the worst team in the league right now and they probably can't believe how the other teams aren't 9 or so points ahead of them. The league is going through one of those Leicester 15/16 seasons.

Moyes finally gets it:

"Normally the ones who stick with it tend to get the best results but I am not stupid.

"In this industry, you have to win games. I am not winning enough games.

Everton and West Ham are in trouble. It’s hard to call right now but Bournemouth might be a good shout. Other than that it’s hard to say right now.

You'd have to be about 45 to remember them as winning things though, so at what point does "history" stop being relevant?

Surely Lamps has to go now? Losing to Southampton at home?
We all know how rabid scouse fans can be, so that atmosphere must have been horrendous.

I'm just glad the noise about Rice "dominating" midfields has stopped. He's the Maguire of midfield, over priced, overrated and someone's biggest mistake in the making.

We’ll go, with Bodgers in charge. The owners and board are like a string quartet playing whilst the ship goes down.

Bournemouth's a really interesting one.

Of course everyone expected them to be down there but they had a really good run of results under O'Neill yet held off giving him the job despite some really good wins.

Thought they were getting Bielsa, he turned them down last minute so they did eventually give O'Neill it full time and now he's losing every week and they can't even score.

Wouldn't shock me if they changed manager again in about a months time as they still have a decent chance of staying up.

Bournemouth, Nottingham and one of Leeds, Everton and Southampton. Probably Southampton.

Completely agree. He's a plodder but for some bizarre reason the media have a hard on for him

We are still one of the biggest/biggest supported clubs outside of the big 6. I suppose if you're not winning anything and lose your fanbase a bit it's arguable but we are still well supported and would/will pack the new stadium (52k).

Quite incredible to see many bigger clubs down there and so many small or newly promoted doing well at this stage. Normally there'd be one team looking doomed by now, I wouldn't like to pick one never mind three teams.

My pick of four with three to go would be Wolves, Southampton, Everton and Bournemouth. Forest have shown a lot of spirit so far, I wonder if they could get dragged down though. West Ham I see them getting out of trouble.

Fair point, but it'd just be weird for me without seeing them in the top league. It'd be the same with Spurs. Trips to those places just seem natural.

Villa and Forest have gone down, who have both won European cups, so an Everton can certainly go down.
Aruguably you could say Sunderland are bigger and they were in the 3rd tier for ages.

I think its weird for many because Everton haven't been relegated since 1951! They're a constant top flight team but I felt the same about Villa.
