Ah so it turns out that the manager/club can stop coaches that are under contract from leaving. Makes you wonder why Rangnick/the club let Carrick and Mckenna leave if they were needed last season.

Well I don't know how hard he tried if he was under contract. I can understand allowing Carrick to go if he really wanted to leave given his service to the club. But when Ralf took over McKenna was going to be his assistant, yet he let him leave as well.He did try and stop them.

Imagine having your name linked with those 3 potential managers

He signed a "long-term contract" in 2021, so I doubt that it'll expire this summer. Next summer might be a possibility.I thought his contract was up in the summer.
With his contract running out I don’t see this being an option.33, permacrock and Al Nassr interested. Huge no.
I mean, ETH has got EVERYTHING right with regards to transfers - so he’s allowed one miss, right?!33, permacrock and Al Nassr interested. Huge no.
The jury is still out on Antony.I mean, ETH has got EVERYTHING right with regards to transfers - so he’s allowed one miss, right?!

I thought that as I posted but hoped nobody would notice….The jury is still out on Antony.
The Horst is a stallion! And Weghorst
5 years too late, no thanks
Would take him in a heartbeat.5 years too late, no thanks
If it's for a short loan deal until the summer I get it. But a permanent deal next summer? Are we that skint? We're supposed to have new owners by then.
Yeah only way it would work for meIf it's for a short loan deal until the summer I get it. But a permanent deal next summer? Are we that skint? We're supposed to have new owners by then.
It was his first professional contract at the age of 17 in 2021, which means it can only be 3 years maximum, so it expires in summer 2024, I expect after his return from his loan spell, he might be tied down to a new long term contract or be sold.He signed a "long-term contract" in 2021, so I doubt that it'll expire this summer. "We are clear that Manchester United want Facu Pellistri to stay at the club, he is one of the biggest in the world. However, we need him to play. There are many options in Europe for him" Edgardo Lasalvia on 100% Deporte.

Here's why Lasalvia was asked about Flamengo: yesterday, O Globo (Tier 3) reported that Flamengo were apparently interested in acquiring Pellistri on loan with United interested. Their initial offer was a loan with a purchase option and wages fully paid by them. The good thing about the meeting with Manchester United is that they understood that Facundo Pellistri needs to play more. The coach promised to try to give him the minutes he deserves. Today we have another meeting.
It is true that Flamengo called us but the priority is not to return to [South] America. Facundo is incredibly calmer than me. He has a tremendous maturity.
We need to stay away from these 33 year old has beens. I think it's all BS anywayWould take him in a heartbeat.
Yeah too many injuries over the yearsWe need to stay away from these 33 year old has beens. I think it's all BS anyway
The odd one or two is fine when you've got a young team but we aren't a young team anymore really, I actually think we could do with adding 1 or 2 young midfield and defensive prospects. We need to stay away from these 33 year old has beens. I think it's all BS anyway
I just think Sancho/Antony/Garnacho are all inexperienced and in big games where might need a bit of maturity and a calm head he would be an amazing option when fit. Obviously you don’t give him mad wages or anything but on a free - no brainier really. Presumably that’s why Pellistri and Elanga are not getting minutes…could either of those be expected to make the difference in a tight game?We need to stay away from these 33 year old has beens. So you’re saying there’s a chanceTweet

Clear indication from him that we are looking at the likes of Reus. I think we are going to make a move for someone. So you’re saying there’s a chance
I generally agree but Reus has been predominantly used a no.10 for quite a long time now that I don't even think he'd be signed to be a wide option.I just think Sancho/Antony/Garnacho are all inexperienced and in big games where might need a bit of maturity and a calm head he would be an amazing option when fit.
