Such as what? What would you suggest he tries?

That’s the thing. Our squad is so poor we don’t have the luxury of trying anything different. It’s a pain in the arse but it is what it so.
I don’t know, that’s ETH’s job. Unlike most others on the caf, I don’t profess myself to be an managerial expert.

Posting here before the meltdown and ridiculous overreactions if we (probably) lose.
He is doing great.
Couldn't agree more. Even in these first 15 mins before the goal, we have matched them and they are giving us so much respect.

Which ones?
Brighton and Brentford were a huge blow as expectations were high. After that he recovered but the loss against Aston Villa felt like a continuation of previous years. Short highs, high lows. In hindsight the Aston Villa result was an anomaly as we had been playing good football before and have been since. I didnt see it that way. I do now.

Ah right. Yeah fair enough. Villa game was very frustrating. Hopefully we won't see a performance like that again for a long while.

Had this one down as a defeat today, so a draw would be awesome. I absolutely love this man and he's done far better than expected. Brilliant appointment.

He’s working with some really, really shit players. That we’re as competitive as we are is a miracle.

This is a reminder that the majority on here thought we would finish 5th: link.

He's completely over-performing, and the signs all point towards a great future under him.

Never change Erik. Almost held onto that result, just like with Palace, right? Fecking hell so disheartening and cowardly. And now subbing Garnacho on in 92 fecking hell

He's overperforming for sure. But he doesn't help himself in some matches, another manager that sometimes just refuses to make subs when it's quite clearly just not happening on the pitch. Why the hell has Eriksen not been subbed he's been a passenger for the entire match, Fred should have come on for Eriksen, Bruno on the right just isn't it

Really let the players down. They've been struggling and fighting the entire half, and the managers done feck all to help them out.

He better do a 20k run to make up for it tomorrow, because they've let everything out there.

I'm still beyond pleased and excited about what he's done here so far but, when he goes conservative he totally blows it. Cowardly decisions the past two matches as far as substitutions.

I blame him today. What an awful nothing match. Looked like a pub side.

Cowardly

The guy had to start Mctominay away from home against the best team in the league. Give him some slack.

We treated Arsenal like they were prime Barcelona in that second half. I expect us to play more of the same against actual Barcelona in a few weeks.

Fecking coward these two matches. Both results are on him. He has tons of goodwill but infuriating when the whole world can see we are not working and he does feck all

It’s a process and all that, but I yearn for the day that we actually take the game to a big team and don’t just play scrappy on the counter.

Learnt nothing from the Palace game. Sat back for 30 minutes and offered nothing going forward. Cowardly tactics that have been punished on both occasions. And deservedly so.

Someone remind him he is a Manutd manager and cannot play conservative just because we are away. 5 points lost are on him.

What’s cowardly? We were getting fecking rinsed. I have no idea what he’s supposed to do with our bench.

Terrible today. So disappointing. Eriksen and Weghorst were non-entities from 60 minutes onwards. AWB was horrendous, sub on Malacia if he wants a draw.

When arsenal were on keeping a high line and he doesn't bring Garnacho on. I don't get it at all.

Should have changed it earlier than he did, subs and tactics, was plain as day they were going to get a winner. Result is on ETH.

Didn’t we hire Mourinho and Moyes? Not sure that has been true for a long time.
