Few sources saying that winning the World Cup has made Messi uninterested in renewing at PSG. Gerard Romero among them (but he's been shite recently).

Just for fun, would you take him at United? Also where do you see him ending up ? Some shitty red tops saying Newcastle but that seems unlikely to me.

Would he do well in the Prem still? For how long?

So he got what he want from the Qataris? Bit suspicious that.

Yes, but no he's going to the MLS I think. And yes he would destroy teams if you could sufficiently make up for his lack of off ball pressing.

I remember when he was leaving Barca and we had to have people here say we didn't need him

Hasn't it been an ongoing thing that he's headed to Inter Miami?

Wouldn’t take him seriously or for fun. Why would we want a player that’s well passed his sell by date. Great as he was he’s finished. United are far to big of a club going for has been. We are desperate for a No 9 that’s in his early twenties if that’s possible

Messi isn't so much about to down tools, he's about to melt them down and sell for scrap metal.
What you suggest would be an expensive disaster.

Is he good enough to give Antony competition for that right wing spot?

I was just making the customary post that's made whenever there's a hint a player is leaving their club

Expensive signing for Chelsea, but it’s not a shock. Only two year contract though, bit surprising knowing how much Todd loves a big one.
Not even Chelsea can pay the wages he is gonging to ask for… Probably Asia or a very special kind of deal in the MLS (like him
owning a stake in the franchise or something)…

City, MLS, Barca(very unlikely), Middle East. A good place for him to raise his family probably is as important as money for him at this stage.

If this is true I can't see him going anywhere else other than Barca in Europe.

The only other option I'd imagine is after winning the World Cup, he's achieved everything he wanted to here and will head back to South America for his final few years.

I'm absolutely sure the Saudi would be dying to bring him to their league. He should just take the trillion dollars they are going to offer him and chill there with Ronaldo. And he could outdo him one last time by getting the bigger contract of the two.

He doesn't have a lot of options if he doesn't resign with them. He could retire or go to MLS, Argentina or go back to Barcelona but if he feels unmotivated at the kind of money he's getting then the rest of teams have no chance. It would had been cool to see him at the premier league but it took him taking one sabbatical season at PSG to hit form in time for the world cup this season, so he would struggle in a more intense league at this stage in his career.

He sure was Beckhams wet dream but I believe it’s not happening. Pretty much no news regarding that here. Likely to go to Arabs or back to FC Levers.

I think winning the world cup has taken all the pressure off him and he can just sail off into the sunset doing whatever makes him happy.

Yeah after completing football, you wonder what his motivation is going to be. I still think the next off-season might be a good break to get him mentally focused again.

It's just one source. Gérard romero who is more than a little unreliable. Pretty much every other source has disputed this.
