Garnacho for Rasford
Antony for Pellistri

Should be the attacking subs for most games.
100%. Does pose an interesting question of where Sancho fits in all of this.

He should start the next two games.
Did very well tonight .
Think weghorst was probably a bit surprised that a right winger went outside his man and sent a cross in for that chance. He hasn’t seen that with Antony……..

I really like the look of this fella but for his own sake he needs a full season of games at a high level next year instead of being a rotation player here. Amad should get the rotation minutes on that side next year with Sancho obviously also a major option across all 3 attacking positions behind the striker

Christ that was a hospital pass he played but I’d love to see him play some prolonged minutes these next two games
Glad he didn't let it effect him though. That could have really knocked his confidence and made him disappear, but he carried on and nearly scored twice, earned us our 3rd goal.

He definitely deserves to be used more often.

Quick feet, good acceleration, right footed. He definitely offers something different than what we have on the right. Hope to see him start against Reading.

He's different. Can go either way, confident on the ball, made things happen again. Delicious little jink and cross that Wout should have buried. I like him. Give him the start vs Reading.

He'll start against Reading and then we'll know more which is likelier, the cameo the other day or the nervousness of tonight. Maybe he's not featured because he's defensively not up to par. But it is refreshing to see pace on the right and the ability to actually cross from the byline. That cross to Weghorst was a treat.

His dribbling reminds me of someone but I can't remember who. It's annoying. He's got a lovely body feint, and he's rapid

Looked good going forward again, same as what we saw versus Charlton. Very nervous when facing the other direction though and very nearly cost us a goal or two. I'll put that down to nerves, and perhaps never playing against Premier League opposition in a competitive game.

Would like to see him start on Saturday so we can see a bit more of what he's made of.

Lots of folk calling on Pellistri to play even though he past the ball direct to a Forest striker is danger position and nearly gave a penalty away. Do i want to see him ? Yes, but we have to trust ETH on these calls. A few more mistakes and a weak performance and folk on here will be dragging him through the street to burn at the stake. We have to accept the mistakes, warts and all when it comes to young players at United.

Almost as though not all 21 year olds are as physically developed (or as good at football) as each other. Crazy, right?
Based on how he played today it is obvious Pellisti lacks game time. He has skills but he is not match fit or sharp and how the feck is he gonna get either of those without playing games? He can't. He should have been loaned and since he wasn't, he needs to be given playing time. I say, he should start in the home match against Nottingham Forest. Antony is a fecking waste of space. Couldn't score 100% chances even against Forrest! Absolutely infuriating. Antony can't score to save his life and needs to be benched to learn a lesson

Hope, We Lose
Bit reckless defensively, but made some good forward runs stretching the defence and drove a nice ball across iirc.

We should try to give him to Sunderland for a year when Amad comes back. Seems like a good option for both teams

He moves like Messi. There. I said it
Yeah that cross he made to Johnson was truly world class... :D except it was to the opposition forward. Good thing Johnson is an absolute clown and somehow, shockingly managed to waste it (and thank God for Licha who got it back), but Pellistri definitely did his best to gift them a goal on 83rd minute. And that was seconds before he almost gave them penalty as well. Truly Messi level forward :)

I honestly think if Pellistri doesn't get his head out of his ass, he will be sold in the Summer and it will be good riddance. Hope we can make some money on him, for a change.

Huh? Do you know how many goals Antony's scored? He's been a frustrating player for the most part, but he knows where the goal is.

Within 5 minutes Pellistri
1. Crossed to opposition forward a great pass that anybody but Johnson would have scored
2. Got inches away from gifting them a penalty
3. Was put TWICE one-on-one with their goalkeeper and failed to score both times

and I AM the one who is harsh? :) Come on, now. You can clearly see why EtH doesn't trust him and trusts much younger Garnacho all the time.

Of course Antony can score. That is why it is so frustrating that he's been so bad, lately.

Just constant negativity with you. First Antony thread now this. Remarkable really.

You see what you choose to see. Can't help you there. This forum is full of my praise for the ones that deserve the praise - Casemiro, Licha, Rashford lately.

The ones that deserve criticism, get criticism, complete with photo evidence (in case you didn't actually watch the game, which seems likely based on your reaction), but all you contribute is "Rah, rah, constant negativity"? Pretty sure none of these players read this forum and get offended, don't worry too much about somebody criticizing them when they play badly. It's kindof the point of this forum.

So if a player makes a mistake or 2 he doesnt deserve praise?
