Keep going back and forth about using bench boost. Haalard, Botman, Forfana and Rashford in my team. Doubt all four will play.

I assume rashford being a doubt is simply because he pulled out of the internationals but he should be fit? Apologies haven’t caught up with any pressers, if there were any

Bench boost active:

Kepa (Raya)
Mee Botman Trippier Shaw Chilwell
March Mitoma Rashford Saka Martinelli
Watkins Toney Kane

Used my free transfer on Shaw now have a dilemma.

Could bring in Bruno for Martinelli but that means I can’t afford Haaland back without losing Chilwell down to someone else like Estipinian for another -4 next week.

Could do Saka to Bruno and wouldn’t have any money problems for Toney to Haaland.

Or could do Martinelli to Maddison and afford Haaland.

Thoughts?

All in for me. Activated my last chip (Bench Boost) and took a hit to go with this squad:

Raya Kepa
Trippier Chilwell Shaw Zinchenko Estupinian
Saka Bowen Maddison Mitoma Rashford(C)
Watkins Toney Kane

Shortterm Plan:
GW30
Watkins->Gnonto and Toney -> Haaland for another hit.

GW31
Roll

GW32
Transfer in two Pool players.

GW33+34
Triple up on City players for their DGW.

I'm also doubtful he'll start both games given the insane amount of fixtures we have. ETH is talking about checking if he's fit enough to 'feature' in the Newcastle match, feature could even mean just being on the bench rather than starting.

The go to tactic seems to be one of Saka, Odegaard or Martinelli for Bruno, but I just can't justify getting rid of saka it on a -4 when they're at home to Leeds and flying.

Captaincy wise it'll probably be Mitoma or Rashford.

Goes without saying but avoid fpl Twitter today if you value your sanity.

All the "hilarious" April Fools Day banter is alive and well. Honestly the lamest day of the year.

Gotta bench one of Toney, Kane or Watkins because my MF 5 are a must with their doubles & Saka with a seemingly easy home single.

Currently sat on Watkins and Kane (I don't really want to bench Kane because he tends to score against Everton and there's new manager bounce potential for Spurs).

Also, captaincy is a nightmare. I could give it to any of March, Bruno, Rash, Mac Allister, Watkins...hell, even Chilwell, Trippier or Estupiñán. Currently on Mac Allister as a differential but really fancied Bruno.

What a headache this week is!

Are we getting some high level jokes like “Rashford injured won’t start” or “MacAllister stayed in Argentina”? How hilarious.

You don't have to go to twitter.

Currently Mitoma (C).

Really feel nervous not choosing Rashford but I'm just picturing him not being fully fit and potentially getting a further injury.

Had same dilemma. Went for the Saka to Bruno option.

I don’t trust Brentford defense in this DGW but hits for defenders are always tricky for me. 50/50 call

Feels like everyone is on BB and with a very similar team this week, good luck all
I did it, as I think Shaw will be needed in next GWs as well for me as Brighton and Newcastle don't have great games for defense.

Bottled it with Rashford cap. Good luck all.

Gl and hopefully Shaw gets a brace, mate.

Some rumours now that Saka starts on the bench today. Hope it’s not true!

Wish I wasn't listening to Let's talk FPL, said the Saka news with under 5 minutes left so panicked sold him for Barnes

I find this Andy lad quite a tw@t and can’t stand him honestly, would be quite embarrassing if he fed his viewers with bullshit info right before the deadline

I went Martinelli out.

I’m hoping Haaland is going to be rotated and him being out of the squad helps a bit.

I think I might just try to keep Saka longer term and maybe downgrade a GK or Mee.

I think that's sensible as long as Haaland isn't back next game.
