Speaking to The Sun, his cousin, Lucy Mitchell said: “He always had a smile on his face no matter what. He had the kindest heart. He is sadly going to be missed by a lot of people.”

Mitchell was widely known for being the supporter who punched Grealish during a Birmingham derby in 2019.
Phenomenal couple of consecutive paragraphs there.

There's a stadium in the south of England called The Dripping Pan.

Its nickname is Pan Siro.

In 2006 - Southend was the only club with positive fixture results against United. They beat us 1-0 in the first game they ever played us - no one else at the time had more wins against us, than we had against them.

Not sure if its still correct

VfB Stuttgart had a different manager in every cup match this season. They are going to play their fourth - the quarter final - tomorrow, which will be the first match for Sebastian Hoeneß. Before they had Pellegrino Matarazzo, Michael Wimmer and Bruno Labbadia as managers.

Wout Weghorst was in the Bundesliga top 4 scorers for three seasons in a row.

Less than two seasons ago (20/21) he finished on only seven goals fewer than Haaland.

During these three seasons (18/19, 19/20, 20/21) only one player scored more goals in the Bundesliga than Wout Weghorst - Robert Lewandowski.

Every single Champions League goal Patrice Evra ever scored went in off the woodwork.

He only scored two. Roma and Bayern.

Saido Berahino is still playing, and he's not even 30 yet. 29 at Limassol.

Aston Villa's set piece coach isn't from Iceland or Scandinavia.

A one armed man from Belfast scoring the winner for Dundalk vs Zurich in the European Cup. Jimmy Hasty his story well worth a look so tragically lost his life in the troubles in Belfast on his way to work in 1974 only in his late thirties.
Probably one of the very few away wins if not the only one by a League of Ireland side in a European Cup tie.
He should be celebrated more, loved life and an excellent centre forward.

Need to look more in to this, never heard about it, he only had one arm, played at highest level in Ireland, scored winner v Zurich, from Belfast playing for Dundalk, there's a film in that

Saw a bit of that doc. Kids playing football in Dundalk in the 60s used to tuck their arm inside their jumpers and leave one of their sleeves empty trying to emulate Hasty!

Chelsea really have cheapened the champions league by being so shit and winning it.

Liverpool in 2005 were shit when winning it but at least had some history.

United have won it 3 times with our best ever teams and we're only one ahead of 2 mediocre Chelsea teams.
