I preferred this thread when it was people hopelessly asking for tickets

I was there for Brighton, it's a great view, atmosphere not brilliant mind
In my experience there isn't really a 'bad' view at wembley. It's one thing they got right.

And for this game it should be jumping everywhere, until we're two down.

Has anybody has been seated anywhere around Block 505, Row 29 for Wembley. My dad's been charged £105 (he's over 65). I have had a look on 3D Digital Venue and compared to the Stadium Map and Pricing on the United website, using the aisles and disabled section for reference, and I am certain he's been given a Cat4 ticket but been charged for Cat2. He's definitely been ripped off because there's no way it's Cat2.

I have sent an email to United to try and get him moved to an actual Cat2 seat or better, he'd rather that then be refunded the £70 difference, but I doubt I'll get anywhere with them.

I would upload an image showing where his ticket is but I can't seem to figure out how!

Had no idea there were decade-long waits for season tickets at Anfield compared to Old Trafford, where until very recently you get a season ticket for the following season with little trouble.

Yes, I've seen the waiting list for Anfield but it should not be as bad for Old Trafford as we have a much larger capacity.

I'd love to know who built the ticket system. Knowing the club, they probably outsourced it on Fiverrr. Would explain how shit it is.
SeatGeek, the same company who manage city's and a few more other clubs, including out in the states

If our stadium capacity remains the same longer term, I expect the waiting list to grow to 10+ years quite quickly. Supply no longer meets demand and people will hold onto season tickets when that happens, especially given how easy the tickets are to manage digitally and not lose out if you cannot attend even large chunks of matches.

Block 505 is one of the weird ones where it has Cat 2,3,4 all in same block so probably there will be people sat right next to someone who paid half the price for their ticket

Don't Liverpool allocate less than half of their stadium for season tickets anyway?

On the off chance that anyone has spare tickets for the FA Cup final (I know, it's very bleak haha) - please do drop me a DM.

Worth a punt.

I've had a reply from United now. They're saying Cat 2 is up to and including row 30, meaning there are four rows that aren't Cat 2! He's on the left side of the block, it isn't clear on the map where the aisles are. The right side is Cat 3, presumably also only above row 30, and that's only two and a half rows! They really need to change the map because according to that the border is only half way up. I get everyone with a ticket should be grateful they've got one blah blah blah, but no one likes having their pants pulled down.

I swear they're out to get these seniors. For the League Cup Final, I know two others as well as my Dad who separately applied for Cat 1 and got Cat 5. That final gave a 50% discount for all categories so they obviously did it because it's the smallest discount possible therefore maximising the revenue, while FA Cup is a flat £10 discount across the board. Not only that they were all given the highest or 2nd highest row. It's like they're trying to bump these pensioners off!

I've decided to book a room on the outskirts, will get smashed in celebration/commiseration either way!
yeah, my thoughts, I think but if there are no trains anywhere at all on the day, this could be a problem when I might hire a car and drive down.

We were Row 19 in 505 for the semi final, only paid £45.

I’ve renewed my ST but I am not sure if it opted me into the cup schemes for some reason. When I try to add it manually it says “Error! Payment token does not exist” - any ideas why?
i have the same thing, must be a glitch. did you get sorted?
