All the stat comparisons with De Bruyne and Odegaard....

How many times have either of them put in a performance anywhere close to that this season? How many times has Bruno been this shit, about 10-15 games? Maybe more?

Very poor, but he’s been like this too many times for a player of his quality.

I don't want to make excuse for him but 56 matches this year exclusive internationals. He clearly needs a break from football.

Like most of our squad there's too much of a difference between his bottom level and his top level

Really poor

It's one of the first times where I will make an excuse for his performance. He seemed cooked from kickoff, to me he is either genuinely tired or ill.

They had a week's rest. He has had a good game like not long ago too.

Can't be "too many games" every time he plays shit.

Very poor, probably my fault as I captained him in my fantasy team.

Then he shouldn't fecking play or should have been subbed.

This "oh he's an iron man he never misses a minute" bullshit isn't anything to write home about when he's cooked physically for 10 of those matches a year and plays like a Sunday leaguer. Performances like today will genuinely cost us at times over the course of a season.

I was worked up all match

But seriously it's frustrating that I have to hear so much about how much of an iron horse Bruno is, and that he never wants to be subbed, but then we have to watch that same level of performance 10 times a year where he can't complete simple passes while everyone afterwards chalks it up to him being tired. I don't care how much he'll bitch about it, he needs to be subbed/rested for his own good at times.

I generally don't like that "excuse" but today on several occasions he looked like pensioner. Especially during that pretend counter attack, it took him 5 minutes to sprint 45 meters.

He plays every minute of every game with a lightweight Eriksen behind him and very poor attackers to pick out. The overall movement is very bad.

He will look better with better players around him.

I about threw something at the tele when we were trying to see out the game, he gets the ball in space around the half way line, and just dribbles in a circle without passing before losing it again.

I felt like Bruno was trying to hard to be deliberate today. Several times he got the ball and held onto it, just for the sake of it, when he could have played a through ball. It was almost like he was doing an impression of what he thinks a Ten Hag midfielder should be. Hopefully plays better next week.

With the amount he has played that would hardly be surprising.

To excuse him, our front 3 offers some of the worst off the ball movement I've ever seen when Rashford and Garnacho aren't out there.

I think there were a few times when all he had to do was a simple pass to try and recycle or keep the ball and chose a worse option which basically surrendered the ball, which thankfully Happened against a team that wasn't too bothered about the result

Definitely the worst I've seen from him in a while. He was playing suicidal balls along the back and slipping at the most inopportune moments. However he had two excellent efforts on goal out of nothing, if one of those go in he would be considered to have had an OK game, I can understand why he was kept on. Today though, Antony was more of a bone of contention for me. My God how has he not been dropped?

In fairness, he has looked a lot better the whole season; it must be allowed to have a bad day at work. He did his job defensively, but otherwise, so off target, if he were to pick his nose, I'd be worried he'd hurt his eye.

It just wasn't his day. He's been our best, most consistent player recently.

This for Bruno. He is one player I give the benefit of doubt because he has been a warrior for us this season, every single game he is there. Every single game.

He's shattered and deserves a well earned break.

Really poor, lost possession far too many times. The fact that he stayed on the pitch speaks to our lack of squad depth.

I'd have had him off at the hour mark, and brought Sancho into the middle. He was that bad.
