    Weirdly I've got a feeling we'll deliver one of our best performances of the season in this game. It's the game to secure CL football, the crowd will be up for it and the players should have confidence playing at home and with some winning momentum. And Rashford should be back.

    Chelsea players have mentally checked out months ago.

    Please God don't lose it and have us go into the last game sweating.

    Martial can't play more than 1 game a week, Garnacho impact sub, should be a comfortable win
    He only played 56 minutes today!

    And he looked pissed off coming off today. Might be a good thing, he needs to put in an angry performance for once! Although he might just go off in a sulk instead!

    Judging by the way games have gone, I am expecting us to drop points here. We seem to become very complacent against teams that are on a low ebb and like to give them a boost at the right time. Just hope we come away with a draw, so the players can switch off until the final.

    We should easily be able to get at their slow as feck defence with the pace of Rashford and Garnacho so hopefully they both start.

    I do want to see us needing anything on the last day. They would no doubt out us through hell and probable mess up.

    Last Man United win in Old Trafford against Chelsea was 2019 (4-0) when Frank Lampard was manager for the blues. Last home league loss to Chelsea was ten years ago 1-0 and certain Juan Mata scoring the only goal, Lampard started that match.

    Good opportunity to start Gernacho and throw in Maguire in place of Lindelof on the 80th minute if we have a lead. All we need is a point. We don't need more injuries for the FA Cup final.

    Players don’t care, have nothing to play for and we have a manager that couldn’t organize a piss up in a brewery. United have the chance to confirm top 4, even with your lack of goal threat it won’t matter, just nail a long shot on target and Kepa will be beaten. Don’t need to even get near our box to score, in fact your less likely to score the closer you get.

    Probably same team as the win at Bournemouth bar getting Rashford in if ready. Get the job done with a result here and then we can play the likes of Dalot, Maguire, Malacia, McTominay, and Weghorst against Fulham. Could start Garnacho too and sub him off after 60~ so he's had more minutes in the bank.

    I'm expecting EtH will already have the main plan in place for the FA Cup Final already, so if we can get 4th secured that will be the only thing on his mind.

    Ideally we would treat this as a must win game and push on for third place.

    It might be a bit premature, you're probably right. But I think there's as much chance Newcastle win their last two as we do. Will be best to evaluate it on Friday. People also keep forgetting that 4th place in England doesn't have to play a qualifying round for the Champions League anymore. 3rd/4th doesn't make any difference other than a bit more prize money I imagine.

    It would be nice to finish above Newcastle though! If we have beaten Chelsea on Thursday, then we will obviously go for the win on the last day. There is almost a week until the FA Cup Final after the final league game. I would just really want players like Casemiro and Varane in particular to be completely rested. I wouldn't want Shaw, Eriksen, Bruno, and Rashford to be playing the whole game either if there's no need to.

    Still, all hyperbole for now. We have to get the job done against Chelsea first and it will be full strength. Sancho had one of his better games, so maybe we go with Rashford as the striker for this one.

    I'll have Dalot and Malacia on fullbacks for this. Garnacho - Sancho on wings. Or Garnacho - Pellistri if EtH feeling a bit more adventure. McTom can start also.

    I don't trust these b@stards: you can pretty much guarantee they'll suddenly remember how to be a good team. Some here saying 3-0... I can barely remember the last time we scored three in the PL. I'd take 1-1

    To be quite honest at this stage I would prefer a Garnacho in instead of Martial , Garnacho at least knows where the goal posts are and has quicker feet.

    Almost forgot this manager bounce.

    We must be careful. Their players may want to be in Poch good book by trying to impress him. I don't we would lose, but definitely can't mess around tinkering by starting MaGuire, or playing Weghorst as no 10 while moving Bruno to the wing for example.

    Our season ended weeks ago. Anything other than a battering might send some Chelsea fans into shock but there won't be any tears.
