Back to his best today after some very average games since his return…. What a finish, ROBIN van Casamiro.

I shudder to think where we would be this season without him. Probably looking at a redux of last season.

A bit sloppy with his passing (as usual), but great goal. And his ball recovery is second to none.

With Martinez, our outstanding players of the season and our best and most important players. Great signings by ETH.

Did really well but it still amazes me how he dives in and sells himself, in kids football they are constantly being told to stand their ground and dont gamble so it surprises me how often he does it. When it comes off and he wins the ball it looks great but when he misses he's out of the game and it leaves a big gap.

Back to his best yesterday plus a great goal.

When he and Eriksen the heart of the team plays well the team often does well.

Glad he played well yesterday, will make it easier to load him off to Bayern.

He gets a pass on here. He's largely awful and not up to PL pace and likely never will be. That and the fact he gets yellows for fun and still throws daft challenges in. We over paid massively.
Always good to keep these posts in mind when we objectively assess the performances of our players.

It’s quite appropriate to flog a player who drops a turd, such as De Gea v West Ham… but quite another thing to flog a player who has been outstanding for us most of the season as “largely awful” and “not up to the PL pace and likely never will be”.

On more than a few occasions Casemiro has stood well above every other player on both sides of the pitch. We would be completely fukked this season without him and would walk into any PL starting XI bar City.

Yes. I have a feeling that if he was at City, he’d find a way of getting into their team. He is such a natural competitor, leader and born winner.

Despite how important he's been his age combined with the fact that he's having to do so much work in our midfield are a concern, so I think we should be thinking about long-term replacements already.

Agree. And kinda worried he could decline next season (even this season there were signs of decline or he was just poor in those games) so can't rely only on Casemiro. Young DM to start games ahead of him from time to time would be good solution.

Class performance today. If we can get him a top quality midfield partner our midfield could dominate next year

Takes him a while to get going whenever he returns from suspension but no doubt an excellent football player and an incredible addition to our team. He's surprised me this season with his abilities on the ball and his knack for scoring very important goal. Great signing.

Don Case. Should be playing with shades and a cigar in his mouth.

Without him I think we finish below Liverpool. He's paid back a huge chunk of his fee already.

He was brilliant, we should pair him with proper CM.

The destroyer, goalscorer, and creator. Can't wait to see him with more decent partner there.

Put Rice beside him and he would get 20 goals and assists in a season.

Revived in the right. Has been colossal in these last few games when we needed him the most.

Classic Casemiro, he can have moments in the season when he looks like he can get a single pass right but when it really matters, he often becomes a very different players. Huge in the last couple of games.
