I hated the Glazers, then I hated the owners who sold to the Glazers, then I hated the Football league for allowing the sale to go through, then I hated the Government to allow the Glazers ownership. However the last...well say month, 'and I don't like the word hate to be honest' but this family are beyond something I can't comprehend.

They are milking every penny, soul the lot out of our club. There isn't many people in the world over the past 30 years that would do such a horrid thing they have done.

For the love of God, I just hope this saga comes to an end. We deserve it now.

If Delaney tweeted we were in for Neymar it would be immediately dismissed as bullshit. I see no reason to believe his latest report on a deadline finally approaching. Now, if the big hitters go with it later tonight then I'll start to feel we're in the end game.

Hopefully it is by Friday as reported. Because if it’s the Glazers staying, we can hope for a juicy protest on Sunday. If it’s Glazers going, it can be a celebration.
How Juicy are we talking? Is it like holiding up a ton of 'Glazer Out' banners juicy or are we talking setting old trafford on fire with flares juicy.

Top 4 being secured will automatically change the valuation of the club. I think it will take another week after top 4 has been secured in order to name a preferred bidder (whilst the Glazers squeeze another bid)

I was thinking a trip down to Woodward’s house for old times sake.

This is not a hostile take-over. The owners have invited bids for the sale of the club. I’ve been in M&A most of my life, with a very big company, and not once when a business has been offered for sale has there not been an invitation to state how you would develop the business (if successful). It is a key part of the decision making process for most responsible organisations. If this is not part of their criteria then the Glazer’s, and particularly Raine, have done an awful job and a huge disservice to the club and its supporters.

It’s a hostile sale.

Unlike City and Newcastle, Utd is a huge club in its own right without rich owners. With rich owners we’d be City on steroids and that’s saying something.

City/Newcastle can’t buy a global fanbase, a great football brand and heritage and an illustrious history.

Even without rich owners we’ve managed to keep up spending with City and PSG. Everyone knows with rich owners we’d be uncatchable.
Brilliant. I can’t wait to be uncatchable and have everyone hate us again. Like the good old days.

They've been doing us a disservice for 18 years. Why would they stop now?

I approve.
We have to dig deep. It's all or nothing.

We'd only be City on steroids if the owners put in place the right people that can take this club forward both on and off the pitch.
It's all going to count for naught if we go through another Woodward era.

If Qatar buys Man United, it'd be a matter of pride for them to compete and beat City. They will not want to be the little neighbours next door, when/if they have sunk 6 billion into it. Seriously, I dont like the way they do things in business or their human rights. But if they took United over, their mission will be to get the best in class all over the park. They wouldnt put a banker in change whose CV reads he's an expert is sponsors and saving money.

I'd call it a slight preference at this point but I'm not thrilled at either option. Both better than our current regime mind.

I do however think that the Ratcliffe camp tends to jump on reports more than the other way round. With quite ridiculous arguments at times.
I didn’t know there was a Radcliffe camp. Thought it was more of anti-petrol state funded camp.

They might do a PSG though. No coherence, just throwing money and failing.

They might, or they might hire the best football people and rebuild from the ground up. I would imagine they have people advising them on this. Exorcising the influence of the Glazers will be a mighty task.

I'm no expert but I've watched enough Succession to know that one of the Glazers is trying to feck the deal. They'll probably go all regulatory or something next.

I'm expecting Greg to take over in the finale so who's the Greg in this situation?

Is this a joke? They don't give a shit and never have. If they were a responsible organisation/family we wouldn't be in the shit we are ffs!‍♂

The same reason we can't stick a certain striker back into the team , but Neymar Benzema and an arsenal player never missed a game and no one blinks.

Probably been discussed in here, I've not really been following the takeover stuff recently, but what's this about Jassim looking to buy West Ham if he fails in his United bid?
Nonsense really, no decent sources behind it.
