He does not strike me to be a lone striker. He would be a great shadow striker in the right system.

I see him excelling in a team that plays a front 2. Him playing off the number 9. Unfortunately not many teams play like that.

Such a classy player. Would be great for us. Technical, highly intelligent and a deadly finisher.
He really isn’t a deadly finisher. That’s his biggest problem. Looks delightful on the eye and then far too often no end product.

There is something special there. I have a feeling he really could be worth the large fees that Atletico quote.

It's not really based on tangible output, it's just his ability in tight spaces, dribbling, touch. He has to improve what he delivers and show greater mental focus to reach his full potential, but at some point with the right manager he could become a world class package. It's very, very close. It's tiny margins really.

Good footballer but not efficient enough

Atletico hoping you're in charge of Utd transfer business...

He's fancy but without end product 95%. He can try find that at a lower level club. Should be loaned back to superliga.

€100m is a crazy risk.

Especially Felix though. Their issue is in front of goal and he has contributed almost zero to help fix that.
He's trying, he's scored more goals for us since he joined than anyone else.

I don't think he's for us. We don't really require him. I just think he could be for someone.

Oh I’m not saying he isn’t trying, I’m saying he isn’t good enough.
England is fecking brutal towards players who are weak in any departments and that’s what happened to him. He either has to be strong enough to hold players off or be rapid quick. When he isn’t a clinical player then it’s a death sentence

Makes me laugh when he has his one good performance in ten games and his fans come into this thread to tell us how great he is and why we should sign him.

Deadly finisher? That is the biggest joke I've heard in a while.

Id like to see him as a 10 in a possession based team under Poch, prefer a loan.

Keep a clean shit tomorrow, United is my final bus

1) he can hold up the ball and actually goes one step further and brings in quick spins to turn the defender. He was a one man wrecking machine against us for Atletico, who parked the bus, hit Felix as soon as they won the ball back, and broke on the counter and played off him. He was teasing our defence all night that night. I've seen him do it many times to other teams.

2) needing to be strong or rapid isn't a requirement. You can actually just be technically excellent. City have many players of this ilk, who are neither strong or rapid.

False 9's can work in teams with goalscoring wingers, outside of Rashford, we don't have that at United. We need goals. We have enough central creativity

Get him on loan next season, and spend the transfer funds elsewhere?
Why?
He's not been very effective in Laliga and he's not been very effective in the Prem.
He shows very pleasing flashes but this guy doesn't have it, he would be Sancho mk2.

If we didn’t have Bruno I’d be all over him. But with Bruno and also the LF position oversaturated already it’s hard to find a spot for him.

As others have said he’d be great as a shadow striker but with how we’ve lacked goals this season I don’t think he’s the answer for us.

He’s actually surprisingly strong on the ball, would be really interesting if he could be turned into a Modric style 8. He has all the technical ability to do it.

He seems to be class on the ball but usually just can’t finish.

He’d fit right in

He's like prime Kaka when he's in the mood but that isn't often enough unfortunately.

That's been the big question mark - can he keep that up and sustain if put in a team that's not as negative as Simeone or dysfunctional as this current Chelsea side are. Honestly shocking player management from his agent w these choices.

Go back 1-2 pages and read through. Crazy how one decent performance changes from being a terrible player to someone we should buy.
