Absolutely! From where we were to now is brilliant, haven’t played great lately but that’s to me is done to fatigue and characters that shouldn’t be there, handle the Ronaldo situation brilliantly and injuries, got to back him now thi summer. I can go to the Caribbean this weekend a very happy man.

For context previous totals were 58, 74 (2nd), 66 (3rd), 66 (6th), 81 (2nd), 69 (6th), 66 (5th), 70 (4th), 64 (7th) and 89 (1st )

The points total was only beaten twice in the past 10 years.

A year ago this would have been deemed a pretty good season. We’ve played so many fecking games though and you can see it hurting us from March onwards. I think we’ll have played more games than City this season.

Onwards and upwards though, I hope we have some new owners announced imminently and we can get to work with summer transfers.

This is important. Playing most of the season without one and still managed to get top four.... good on him.

Very good debut season and he's achieved more than I expected. I would give him a solid 8/10. Our performances have been a wee bit hit-and-miss the past few months, but we had a feck load of injuries and it's clear some of these players are shattered.

Next season we need to start controlling games better, and hopefully a clinical number 9 can sort out some of our wastfulness.

I've had that expectation for any new manager post SAF. Top 4 first season, comfortable top 4 and a trophy 2nd season, title challenge 3rd season. EtH is actually ahead of schedule in my books
