That's the cost for Wolves fans tonight and apparently there's a boycott on.

Although United supporters are paying upwards of that mind.

Talksport are leading with it this afternoon.

How much were West Brom fans charged at Arsenal?

The price is £5 extra for United fans who aren't oneunited members too. Stretty tier 2 for instance also becomes £41 for none members. And still £36 for members.

Shocking really

But the Glazers really haven't done anything wrong since they came to OT...

41 to see reserves on a weekday is a disgrace tbh. Tonights attendance will be interesting, but no doubt it will be based on tickets sold rather than those who attend.

OR have they stopped doing that?

I hope the boycott works - unsold seats is the only way that will convince the club to lower prices.

I am not a fan of the glazers or the prices of the tickets at Old Trafford but in their defence on this occasion I believe United are usually willing to cut the price of tickets for the league cup matches but as it is a cup match both teams have to agree to this as each team recieve 45% of the gate money each so it is probably Wolves who have insisted that the prices are kept as normal so they get a decent pay day meaning their fans would have to pay the same price as they will for the Premiership match.

They could have done...I seriously doubt it however. Especially at a time when every other club in the league is lowering/freezing prices/selling CC tickets for ten bob.
Yeah. There's no way that prices would be that high now were the Glazers not in charge.

With it being a televised match there should be a greater chacnes of success for any proposed boycott.

And it can hardly help when even the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal are half the price.

That's what was said after the Coventry CC game (I think) a couple of seasons back, only for Coventry to come out and flatly deny it. At least that's how I remember it. Or am I imagining it? Anyone?

possibly it is just a excuse but I'm sure if wolves was given the choice of having 45% of 76000 tickets sold at £10-15 or 45% of 60000 tickets sold at £30-45 I'm not sure if they would agree to take such a cut.

im not convinced though that any other owner wouldn't have done the same thing, debt or no debt
Same here - if they think they can get away with it then they will - only when they see matchday revenue falling will they start lowering prices.

I think it was last season against QPR rather than 2007

It was coventry I think cause a bigger fuss was kicked about price when united lost to them and we played youngsters in the match.

The price wasn't the issue for the Coventry game. It was the fact that United forced all ST holders to purchase tickets under the compulsory ACS.

It was last season, against both Boro and QPR. United claimed they could only reduce prices with the visiting club's consent, but when the visiting fans questioned their relative clubs at their Fans Forum the clubs said United had never even raised the issue with them.

It's ridicolously priced for a CC Third Round game, some tickets are going for £54. You'd think both teams would rather price the tickets at a level which is going to more or less fill capacity than keep them as highly priced as they are.

So you think that if United and, say QPR, had agreed to keep prices high and then QPR had said to their fans and the media that it was all United's fault that United wouldn't have made a statement refuting this? Instead it went very quiet and United never made that claim again.

If that's true, why didn't QPR/Boro release a statement formally refuting the initial claims by United, instead of keeping schtum until they were confronted at a fan's form?

MUFCUM...Manc-Union.
Children born in Manchester from now on have a good chance of growing up as City fans...

Glazers don't give a feck though.

They'll be long gone.

With their profits.

Wonder what the attendance will be tonight? There's tickets going pretty much everywhere according to the OW.
