I'd love Reds return, roars Rafa

Rafael Benitez "dreams" of managing Liverpool again in the future and would consider offers from England, but not Everton or Manchester United.

The Spaniard only left Anfield last summer and while his successor Roy Hodgson lasted barely half a season, he himself was similarly unsuccessful at Inter Milan.

Benitez admits Kenny Dalglish is currently doing an impressive job in his role as caretaker boss until the end of the season, but concedes he would jump at the chance to resume his love affair with the Kop.

"I am really proud of being the manager of Liverpool Football Club and I would like to come back in the future," Benitez told Sky Sports News.

"You never know (when) because Kenny is doing a really good job. It's a question of time. You never know in the future.

"It would be a dream. I would be really pleased to come back in the future."

Benitez revealed he would consider other offers in England but would never contemplate managing Liverpool's rivals Everton and Manchester United.

"Fans in Liverpool know the teams I would not go (to) but I think these clubs wouldn't offer me a job.

"I'm a professional but obviously some clubs I would not go to, especially the big rivals of Liverpool. I won't say the names, but it's not difficult!"

That bottle of champagne I've got on ice which was going to stay there until we get number 19, has now just been opened at this news.

I would love if Liverpool took him back.

And the fecking cheek of him saying he wouldn't manage Man Utd. As if that fat twat would ever be asked.

It's a sad case, he's become really desperate these days. The poor sod has well and truly cracked up.

Why does he need to manage? Just live of the money he pretty much stole from Liverpool and Inter.

Having said that, I'd love it if he went back to Liverpool

I can't think of another man that unites Liverpool and United fans in the same way as Rafa. We all would love to see him return.

Should the Liverpoo job come up in the future I would like to take this opportunity to rule myself out of the running. It's a loyalty thing.

He's annoying Twat. He simply can't get a job anywhere so he's hoping Liverpool is dumb enough to take him back. Actually I'm hoping they are too. Lol. Maybe he should go back to waiting tables.

We can't stop here. This is bat country.
He's become a rather pathetic figure. You can tell he feels a bit irrelevant at the moment.

Unemployed, unwanted, and ruling himself out of the United job he hasn't a hope in hell of being offered in the first place.

I think Rafa really does love Liverpool....just as Jose loves Chelsea.

Ah....the addictiveness of our PL clubs. When you've tasted the best you don't want the rest.
He loves getting his arse kissed no matter what and having a rediculous hold over the club. That and he's currently got no job.

Rafa Benitez saying he'd never manage #MUFC is as upsetting as Gary Glitter saying he'd never babysit your kids! #YouWerentGettingAsked!

Imagine that. Buying a house somewhere you've enjoying living for about 6 years. The cheek of him. :houllier:
